A low budget solution that's effective - banding and band clamps would be effective, but they seem a bit excessive - and zip ties would be less practical. The clamps have been hanging on for over a year without issue since I used black heat shrink to seal them.

The edges of some things are rough. Overall, it is a great part, but there are some things to improve on. To test it out, I turned the extinguisher on and off a few times after I got it installed. There were roughly five times of in and out, and two of the detents had come loose. For these detents, the holes are oversized and there is a small amount of retaining compound to secure them. My own idea wasn't enough, so I added one of It's still possible that the edges of some machined parts are a little rough. Prior to anodizing, it might benefit from some more deburring.
We put shims inside our friends' so they won't rattle. They bought the more expensive version thinking that more money meant better, but now they rattle so badly that we need to put shims in them. While they have some play, these don't rattle while I drive around. They feel very sturdy and have some play, but no rattling is heard. It would have been nice to have heat shrink around the bands, but I didn't receive that. In any case, the plastic is great, and I also use my own heat shrink.
I hit the first bump and the locking pin came apart, and my fire extinguisher went flying, so it's definitely not a robust product for off-road riding A road trip.
I have looked at the hose clamps for three days and they are all rusty. Metal with a very soft feel. A lot of stripping is required to get tight. Exiting the bolt is the best thing to do. The one I have is not good enough, so I will replace it with one of high quality. These clamps should be used to hold hoses. It's very cool to have an aluminum quick disconnect. Despite the high quality, the hose clamps are not up to the same level of performance.
Despite how ugly the clamps look when you're done, it's easy to install with the hose clamps provided. Within two rides, assuming the knob was securely attached to the side by side, the knob vanished. It is likely that the item was never removed from its factory location. That was probably my fault. I thought they would have used loctite to tighten up the assembly. See photo.
The brackets are pretty sturdy, with my drill I was able to tighten faster and just need to remove the extra slack from it easy to install just need to see how it handles while riding, hope it doesn't vibrate too much.
Price is great, you can't get a better deal for what others sell. The design looks good and it should be sturdy.
Rattles little or not at all. Although I expected the item to rattle quite a bit, it is extremely So far I haven't had a problem with it coming loose.
