While I had several fire detectors throughout my home, only this one was in my bathroom. The fact that I finally purchased it was a relief since I'd always been worried about it. The installation was done by me. There was everything you needed to mount it. A remarkable amount of ease was involved. Even though it came with instructions, I realized I did not need to read them since it was so self-explanatory This is self-explanatory. In approximately 10 minutes, I had the batteries installed and installed the accessory. There are batteries inside this device that are supposed to last a long time! The instructions say they should last a decade. Can you imagine how incredible that is? What I love about this carbon monoxide detector is that it has a small LCD screen that will show you how much carbon monoxide is in the air if the alarm goes off. In this way, the alarm will never go off and you won't have to guess what it is. This will inform you if it is a very low amount in which case you have time to gather items or if it is a very high amount in which case you must leave right away.

The family is going through the process of reorganizing rooms after welcoming a new baby. The room that was once used for junk and overflow is now going to be her room. As I have gone through the arduous process of rearranging that my home needs, I am currently testing smoke alarms and considering the option of other alerts or detectors. I was compelled to add an additional CO2 detector to my home for this reason. I was unable to find the brand that I was previously purchasing, so I decided to look elsewhere and came to my favorite online As a smoker, I had become accustomed to my 10 year smoke detector so long battery life was the first attribute I sought in CO2 detector. I don't want to have to worry about batteries failing or forgetting to replace them, so that narrowed my search at the beginning. A digital display that is easy to read was the next requirement for me. It would be nice to know if there's a trace of carbon dioxide in my house! Last but not least, I wanted the children to be able to communicate easily with It's possible they won't be able to tell me or they'll say it incorrectly if I ask them what the number on the meter is. When I ask what the color is, what do you tell me? No matter whether the light is green, red, or yellow, it will mean the same thing to me! My decision to purchase one that met all my specifications was made very easy because I cut it on, installed it and it looks great. Since I have only used this for a short time, I have had no complaints, and it appears to be working properly. This is an excellent detector, it has a great battery system, they fixed one problem I had with the automatic activation on install, and it has a readout, which is a huge advantage for CO2, etc. The mounting is terrible as it is with all their detectors. It is crazy that all other smoke detectors I won't buy are so bad, but this one nails it. * *• It is only meant to be used with the screws that came with it. There is a very tight tolerance. I do not like them.

It is inconceivable to them that you might mount to a surface other than drywall with the anchors provided by them. Plastic anchors are also not rated for use on It is extremely difficult for them to pull themselves out. Walls are supposed to be strong enough to withstand shear forces. It is very difficult to mount the bracket. The belt is too A ceiling that isn't perfectly flat can cause the detector to not fit on the bracket. If the bracket is tightened, the detector won't fit. Once the bracket becomes flat, the screws need to be loosened. I am very angry that we used my indoor fireplace to light our living room, and in spite of our home being filled with some 3 new products, not one of them worked. I looked in the box for instructions, but there were none, so I thought maybe my husband had not removed the battery tag. To thank you for your 5-star review they gave you an Amazon gift card instead. Why would they do that? The product you are buying is a safety one. Putting out products that sell stars is a shame for Amazon.

There is something wrong with This carbon monoxide detector alarm will notify you if it detects carbon monoxide We purchased a New Year Battery to replace the old one. I purchased my motorhome in 2012 and when I opened the box I found it was a. . . After new batteries were installed in a bedroom CO detector, it continued to beep despite not being turned off. ended up buying and installing a replacement that was specifically designed for RV installations, which was exactly what I had wanted. As recently as a few months ago, it still worked well, but was expensive and difficult to maintain. My beeper began chirping even with new batteries, and when I searched for a replacement, that original model no longer existed. I was intrigued by this carbon monoxide detector because of its 10-year warranty and the fact that it claimed to include Battery life of one year. I was willing to pay more for this model because I wanted a detector that was sensitive and reliable,despite it being more expensive than others available on Amazon. The provided screws were used to mount this detector on my motorhome ceiling at exactly the same place that I had previously removed a detector from. The detector snaps securely onto the mounting ring after it is mounted using a lightweight mounting To replace the old detector with the new one, I used my Philips head impact tool and it took me no more than five minutes. Opening my motorhome's door to let some of the exhaust in, I confirmed that this detector is equally as sensitive to exhaust as my previous model. Although I have just recently installed this unit, I am not able to comment on the claimed 10-year warranty I was glad I didn't have to buy batteries separately for it since it had a one-year battery. Having two CO detectors very much increases my sense of security while camping in my motorhome, because there are several sources of carbon monoxide. The one in the bedroom is on the right. In my living room I have a CO detector with a different model, as well as a smoke detector.
