The Carbon Monoxide card depends on how you plan to use it. Pilots use it for 30-minute trips on board aircraft During the first 45 days, the cockpit would be assessed for carbon monoxide levels. My own was used in a bathroom in which I thought someone was smoking in my home. Two days after taping the card to the back of the mirror, I checked its status. After exposure to the smoke, the color changed from mustard green to mustard yellow, then slowly changed back to the mustard yellow after about four hours. A note was included in the package regarding how long it could be used.
It is true. Besides the double-sided tape on the back, it has a magnet as well. As part of our patrol cars, we put them in the trunk.
My goal was to see if the device could detect someone smoking in the bathroom by placing it behind a mirror. In that case, the card didt caused the light to turn mustard instead of pale yellow, and that mustard color remained for several hours. Because I took the card out of the bathroom, it took about 15 minutes for the light to come back. It seems that these are usually used for airplane cockpits and trucks' cabs, and that they work
There is only a small need for this in a relatively dry environment with relatively low humidity levels.

When exposed to CO, this product responds by changing color as a function of exposure time and CO concentration. A cabin seal failed, alerting me to a potentially dangerous situation. However, once the weather improved, the seal was back to normal. To verify this simple CO detector's efficacy against a Sensorcon CO meter, it was tested while troubleshooting the cabin leak.
I guess it's good, never detected CO2 but seems fine.
It did not detect exhaust. The peace of mind I thought it would bring was good. Over the past couple weeks, I have perceived exhaust a few times but the indicator was 'normal' with no change, so I thought maybe I was just imagining things or perhaps a nearby car was emitting the exhaust. After I finally took the car to the dealer for service, my dealer found that the catalytic converter had been damaged as well as the exhaust manifold had cracks. In the cab, there was exhaust coming from the engine. As the indicator was only eight months old, it should have had a full twelve months to run. A problem didn't manifest itself in any way, as the color of the device never changed. I don't think I would rely on this safe for everyday use since I've had it for too long to return.
For a plane I got it. I hope this will work,.
So far, no problems. Solidly sticks to the inside of the car without falling to the ground.
As described. Item received in good condition.
The program is easy to install, as well as easy to use.
