It did inform me of its location. After just hanging around, it did not read even when I expected it to. This is a bit of a concern, so I am unsure if I can trust it. My concern is more subtle readings. I would know if I got an alert next to the exhaust if it got inside our bedroom, but I'd be more concerned if I got an alert next to the exhaust. There seems to be almost a universal aspect to it The device does not work.

There was gas in the house, but I wasn't sure what it was - until I saw this bugger. I have not detected any CO yet, but will keep testing around my boilers to see if I see any. We all smell CO at high levels, but at small levels it is hard to detect
