There is no way to change how much CO is stored. By immediately pressing and holding down the power button, you can recall the MAX value. A blue LED light displays at that point until power is turned off again. In some seconds, the display returns back to continuous reading after showing the MAX value. Whenever a CO value is higher than the previous record, the higher value overwrites As soon as the detector is turned off, it deletes its MAX value and starts over.

Basically, it will display any number above 0 (i.e. 1, 3, 5, 11, 17, 24, 36), or anything that it detects above 0. All in the literature, it will sound an alarm at certain levels as well. The alarm will no longer sound if the CO2 levels drop below a certain level. There have been others, but this is the best I've ever experienced. My heart would beat faster if I bought it again.
As per its specification, the CAR001 is rated to respond to the environment for no more than 60 seconds (at the absolute worst). Its response time is very fast, usually a matter of seconds, as we have tested it many times. It may take time for the CO to diffuse and normalize within an enclosed space if the CO ppm level is low, but the CO detector can detect it when this occurs Depending on air dynamics, this can also result in a longer response time). It is fast enough to detect a change in signal within a few seconds, though.

A CO leak in an airplane is a real danger, making this device a must-have for our two airplanes. Since I have owned several other units made by other companies, I have tried several of them. This is by far the best. It's just a bit of cardboard with a dot to turn color when exposed to The prices of some of the other systems are very high and some turn themselves off after two years. The device must be turned off after every flight, even if it is turned off between flights. CO monitors from Forensics are small and provide a very visible warning and an audio alert. I really like its pricing, as it is half the price of the 'best' monitor I had previously bought. There is nothing wrong with this unit, except that there are no "end of life" warnings. As soon as those two arrive, two more will go on sale. The cockpits of all our aircraft are fitted with one, mounted so that the pilot is in line of sight of it at all times. I highly recommend this book.
It's definitely not safe to handle that stuff, especially in small spaces with no I recently tested my car and the monitor never budged off of zero, so I am now completely confident that it is safe to drive. Despite its small size, this monitor is well built, and I will take it with me when I travel. For those who are looking for a CO monitor and aren't sure which to choose, I would highly recommend this FORENSICS product.
As opposed to detectors that alert me to dangerous CO levels in a timely manner, this one immediately registers dangerous CO and begins registering. The monitor I have is a great asset not just in my car, but also all over. I recently found out that one of our ranch vehicles had an exhaust leak when the Many of his clients have been poisoned while staying in hotels by carbon monoxide, a gas that is responsible for brain damage from exposure to CO. My husband is an attorney who represents people with brain injuries caused by CO exposure. The monitor we carry when we travel is with us at all times. Compact, easy to read, easy to use and easy to pack this device is.
As soon as it was calibrated, I walked to the back of the car and tested it. After it started counting up into the hundreds, beeping and flashing for attention, it immediately went into action. It began to count up again as soon as I walked away, and the button was never again functional. Then, I saw their test instructions, where it says you need to make sure you avoid exhaust from cars. Having screwed up, I told the people at the company, and they fixed the unit for me graciously. The shipping cost was over my estimate, but I will certainly accept it as a small price to pay for a reminder of the importance of reading the Here's the manual. Attached is a picture of it being tested as shown in their videos. Put a wooden stick and a glass in the boiling water. Cars are not for sale here! I am very pleased with the customer service and the unit works as described. Your help is greatly appreciated!.
Several of our aircraft are equipped with this device, and we have been very pleased with it. It is easy to read the level indicator in the cockpit and the alarm can be heard even while wearing a passive headset (23. 5 Small size and weight are not the only advantages, but the low-priced and the ease of use are also big pluses The pilot was alerted by a low level, short time response alarm. For instance, we switched from passive stick-tracking to active stick-tracking Approximately one hundred units of this unit will be purchased for $30 each. This is a very cost-effective solution to a need identified by an event related to monitors.
In terms of value for money, this is a great instrument. Recently, I finished restoring a 1978 Datsun 280Z and wanted to ensure no exhaust gas leaked or was sucked back into the cabin during the restoration. It is well known that these cars have this problem when the gaskets on the hatch, etc. , wear out and do not seal As a result of this instrument, I was able to demonstrate that no CO had gotten into the cabin from the exhaust, which was extremely comforting. This product can be used in a number of ways if someone is concerned about carbon monoxide exposure. You will find that the peace of mind you will receive from this handy little machine is well worth the price you pay for it. It's a very nice, well designed device. It's a good device, well thought out. It's easy to operate, read and understand. Thank you so much for your support and assistance! The owners of the company responded to emails promptly and courteously. Additionally, they were the ones who invented their product, so they have a great deal of knowledge about It was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had! The company is setting a high bar for its products and unfortunately other companies cannot or won't match it. If you choose to purchase this item, you can rest assured that the seller will support it and stand behind it.
I recommend it highly to anyone who wants to save time and money. It increased and alarmed as promised in all test runs. It will alarm much faster than standard units, and is well worth the price.
To fit my Sprinter van, I needed this There is a diesel heater in the van, and the CO2 levels should be alerted if they are high in the van. By placing them close to the heater's exhaust port (located at the front of the van), I obtained mixed results with the less expensive versions. When the same test was used, the little unit almost immediately started working. As a matter of Some days ago, I was using a Jetboil to make coffee inside my van, and it started going off - the doors and windows were open at the time. Compared to the cheaper First Alert and Kidde models, the cheaper models did not emit any sounds. This is definitely something I recommend The only thing I'm unhappy about is the weak adhesive on the back (we had.
