Is it safe to store cars in the garage or in shop??

Use ABC fire extinguishers in many applications and they can serve as both multipurpose and firefighting agents.

Would this be a 2A? BC ?

I would not say it is as strong as a - rating 3A: I am 40BC. I'm of the 40BC.

Has the product an expiration date? Would the warranty start upon buying the the the product or when it was made?

Six and twelve years are recommended intervals for maintenance on all types of extinguisher. Maintenance for 6 years requires an internal inspection to test the contents of the cylinder as well as the chemical inside of the container. The 12 years, however, involves a hydrostatic test to confirm the vessel can safely handle a load. A licensed technician performs the tests performed on these tests.

The Amerex Corporation avoids disaster with this disaster alert
5/5

As I can't actually write anything about this particular extinguisher, in which case it is lucky, I can't really do this. used. As for the reason for my purchase, I am glad I bought it as it probably saved us from major damage caused by a fire a few years ago. People say the old extinguishers in the picture are ones you used when you were a kid. It wasn't a hot subject to me at all. Since 1999, our house has been under construction. 2004 was the year we bought it. In every annual repair to my water heaters, I forgot about that extinguisher. It was left on a shelf inside my garage, only looking at the spot of my attention for just the time being. The tag was never checked, nor did I pick it up. Two weeks ago nobody in the house was inside when a candle lit a table cloth on fire. Seeing it and yelling, my wife managed to put out the fire 3 feet high, destroying top. By the time I got to the garage, I grabbed the extinguisher, pulled out the plastic tab, and with a few bursts of bicarbonate, it averted the potential catastrophe. No matter how much nose we ran or how loud the fire alarms sounded, we were alone in ruined table tops. The neighbors will not know whether a firetruck is there or not. As no water was used, we covered the two rooms with bicarbonate dust, but none of the pictures were damaged as we covered all. As soon as I saw that Amerex was coming back, I immediately committed to buying it. As soon as it was over, I checked the tag; This was the first new inspection of a facility in 1996 and was the last to be done of 1998 as well. wow. Yes, we are lucky.

It lacks a wall mounting bracket
3/5

A wall bracket is included in the description. I find this to be highly misleading. This is because the product has been ATTACHed to a wall. It's a "hole" in it. What's wrong with this, er the necessary wall mounting hardware is NOT included in the package! After-dinner, I had to go to the store separately. There is a market wall on the outside of the city. This is mounted with a mountable hook, so there is not as much security or ease of use. Put in place by the mounting bracket designed to hold extinguishers properly.

the ave extinguisher! It is impossible to give 0 stars!! Upon arrival there was not enough dust or pin to pull the trigger
3/5

How much did I pay for this? I like it when the paper weights are dirty. There will be no smoke stopped. . . Update: : ). We replaced the malfunctioning unit with a fully charged battery that also operates. I will give it a two-star rating, as I believe it stands up well to quality control, but I refuse to go higher just because they didn't allow the bad unit to ship at first.

Those of you who are interested in having one of these ought to do so
5/5

I work with them. We have the same 5lb units at work. During my five-year stint there, I have encountered most workers who collect dust. My workplace is right across from a small airport where there are a number of rental car agencies operating a collective car wash. Several days ago a fire started after someone at the car wash used 50-gallon containers of rags to set their extension cord on fire while using the rags. As part of his effort to put out the fire, the guy poured 22 gallons of Windex into a container. The Windex simply made it worse by adding an additional layer of deoxidization. My coworker heard the man scream and ran to retrieve a fire extinguisher, and put out the fire in about ten seconds. The ABC rating thing will certainly be covered by an electrical fire caused by burning plastic and rags in the direction of Windex. There were no obstructions on this device. After the powder was poured, a mess was left behind. There would be much worse damage done if the fire had erupted. A little over 25 dollars was spent on recharging the unit the next day. This thing is truly a good price when it comes to fire disaster protection. I actually purchased mine before it all went down. Now that one of these is in my house, I can't believe it!! Get one.

In the end, neither one of the seals broke, but otherwise, neither had any damage
4/5

This pull pin is connected to the extinguisher with two pieces of plastic that are attached together. Pin holders are permanent pins whose functions are to prevent loss of the pin after it has been pulled. Besides this, there is a tamper seal that keeps the pin in place while it is pulled by someone. Since plastic has a hard permanent surface, it is stiff. As a result, the extinguisher pins may go out (out or away from the pin). In the event that the tamper seal is broken, the pin simply "expels" from the safe location. All of mine found that out when I bought them. There was a break in the tamper seal, and the pin was removed most of the way out of it. The extinguisher would discharge if the material had fallen off, causing it to be bruised. It is clear why people receive already discharged goods. My ring was therefore secured using thread (rather than rope to avoid self-retracting pins), as I do not have a code that would support a true tamper seal. Strong enough to handle ejection, but weak enough to break when it is pulled.

A cracked safety seal was present on the package
3/5

Do you need more these two? ed this tand another two- In this pack comes the same or a different brand/model as this seller sells. One of the two packs had been sealed off, and a single unit was also sealed off. A second boxing unit was not available and seems the factory boxings were intended to sell for shelf sales, not repack. The two- In this pack two single units are wrapped collectively as one unit. pack.

I believe it can be done quickly by knocking on the hook
4/5

Prices are the same and there are comparable units available in real-life sizes at the hardware store to these units. In spite of this, both have mounting hooks and all are metal, unlike the ones available locally. There are two reasons why it cannot be rated 4 stars.
1. If the mounting hook was a complete bracket holding the unit securely, I would like it. extinguisher doesn't pose any danger yet, so it must be easily removed. You should get an aftermarket bracket if you want to place this near high traffic areas.
2. In order to get a three-unit system, I ordered three of them. Despite the tamper seal not breaking when I received them, I had to replace all three units. My use of theses in commercial properties requires the tamper seal as well. Their replacement was as smooth as could be, but it was just a hassle having to wait around for replacement parts.

Bring them home to your house and you will have them all
5/5

I really liked these fire extinguishers. Using one on my car recently put out the fire and it didn't take long to put it out because the nozzle blew out before it started. Having these in the garage as well as on each floor of my house makes the most sense for me since I need them centrally. My vehicle fleet has needs for two more items. When it comes to extinguisher mixtures, it's always better that there's more than there is. When you order goods, you will get a price of 18 euros. During this time of fire suppression, the aircraft does not blow any smoke. In volunteer firefighter firefights, it is much more useful for discovering fires quickly than a regular fire.
