Questions & Answers
Fire extinguishers with carbon dioxide use pressure cylinders that comply with DOT standards. There is a stamp near the neck of the cylinder with the month and date and every five years the extinguisher needs to be tested hydrostatically. In accordance with OSHA regulations, an extinguisher should be weighed annually for certification. If you use this for home use and have an accurate scale, you will be able to determine whether and how much CO2 is escaping. There are two seals one is for the bulk (full with valve) and one is for the tare (empty without valve). In spite of this, it is still recommended to inspect the extinguisher annually.
It depends on what you are mounting it to. Is it a boat or a motor vehicle? You may need to install a bracket on your vehicle. Unless otherwise directed by the building owner, it should be stored vertically inside the building. For more information, please refer to Please see standard 10 for more details.

This is a good This construction is very nice. The unit I bought is of good quality and should last for a long time. I purchased it to store it in my office If ever used, set up a standard unit to use powder and clean up afterwards. In the event of a fire in the kitchen or garage, this is beneficial since ABC extinguishers use dry chemical agents that Note that if the installation is going to be inside a house, it will be harder if space is an issue. Compared to a standard 5 lb. bag, it is a bit larger. A powder unit that fits ABC size. Since it was bought through Amazon, they did not pack it with an overpack box for shipping. Originally packaged in a box with a hole, with no padding, the box had a hole in it. A lack of internal padding also occurred around the handle. It was a lucky day for the handle and pressure valve as neither of them were damaged during transportation.
It's nice to have Co2 cans you won't have to make a mess if you need to use them.
I purchased (2) of these to use in my garage in case of small fires without causing damage to my house. Insurance at a low cost.
A broken zip did, however, arrive in one of the boxes- The pin will hang out after you tie the safety tag. I am so glad that I did not pick up the extinguisher by its lever in order.
The truck was my old Detroit diesel truck, and I got it strictly for safety reasons. To be safe, I'm letting myself run through it. The application has not been used. There is no need for a mount as it fits under the seat nicely. When the time comes, I hope it works. I'm not sure when it will appear.
As soon as I took possession of the unit and inspected it, I discovered the safety pin was severally bent and stuck in the extinguisher. I had to use pliers to undend the pin and remove it and then straighten However, the handle was still usable even though it was damaged.
For such a high-quality fire extinguisher, this price is amazing. This is a great product that is very easy to use. I found it very difficult to find one that uses carbon dioxide in my area, but the ones I found were twice the price.
