That's correct! The first thing we did was check to see if it met the requirements.
That depends on what you're mounting it on: wood (a 2x4), plywood (thickness), drywall, concrete block, or wall, etc. Because it's only a quart in weight, four screws should suffice if they're the right screw or attachment system for the material you'll be mounting it to.
The pac- The kit is made in Connecticut, and the eye solution is made in Canada.
Water with a pH of 7.0. They remove everything that gives water a bad taste and is potentially harmful to the eyes. Water with a lot of style. lol

It's only a few feet from the door, but I noticed the bottle tilting out every couple of days right away. To keep it from falling, I must push it back into the holder. To keep it in place, I'll need to make a strap. You get what you pay for once more! I'm unable to comment on the solution, but I concur with other reviews- Because you may not be able to remove the plastic wrap in an emergency, you will. My garage is a residential garage, so it's not a big deal. I scratched my eye a few weeks ago, which prompted me to purchase one for my garage.
They get the job done, but I anticipate having to replace them sooner rather than later. br>2016 UPDATE: After a few times being removed, the bottles begin to fall out as the friction weakens. The bottles themselves aren't very good. They'd be extremely difficult to open in an actual eye wash emergency. To begin, you must first open the plastic shrink-wrap. Wrap the cap around the bottle, then open it. Finally, find the separate eye cup and attach it to the bottle. This year, I'm going to replace about four of them. Because of the price, I believe I will purchase this item again. br>UPDATE 2018: It's a good thing these are so cheap because if you look at them the wrong way, they crack. Because the labels fade and peel so quickly, I've started making my own to cover them up. Every year, I buy a few to replace the worst of them, and it's really just a cheap way to stay compliant. - It has a nice bright color that makes it stand out in the workplace. br>- Fits most 32 oz eye wash bottles, including those from different brandsbr>- a lot less expensive than other eye wash stationsbr>br>contrary to popular belief, it is much more expensive than other eye wash stationsbr>br>contrary to
- Damaged easily. The plastic is very thin (I'd say it's thinner than a credit card and not as strong) and cracks easily under light pressure. br>- Inconsistent quality (I ordered several of these and two of them were missing their mounting screws, one had a severely warped edge, and one had a crack in the bottle that caused all of the solution to leak out during shipping). )
- Friction is the only thing holding the bottle in. Because of this, as well as the brittle plastic, I expect it to lose its ability to securely hold bottles after a few uses.
- In the sun, the labels fade VERY quickly. br>br>Summary: br>br> Cheap and easily broken, but it gets the job done and meets workplace safety requirements for a low price.
There is no eye cup or anything to help direct the solution in the bottles; instead, there is an inner cap with a smaller hole than the diameter of the neck. The cap's security wrap is difficult to remove, making it inconvenient for someone in an emergency. For ease of access, I removed the security wrap, which works fine in my application, but it might not work in a commercial setting. Other eyewash units I've used in the past had a security seal that was much easier to remove and didn't get in the way.
" Following a trip to the emergency room to have metal shavings removed from his eye, I bought this for my husband to use in the garage (he's a mechanic). Although this product would not have removed the metal shavings (which were caused by using a wire wheel without wearing safety glasses), we both agreed that having something similar on hand is a good idea in case of future "eye accidents. " We were both relieved to find a product that is wall mountable and thus will be easy to locate in the event that it is needed, but we agree that the unit could be a little more robust; I'd hate to see what would happen if it was knocked off the garage wall! We found this to be the best deal for our needs when compared to similar products available on Amazon. Overall, I'm happy with the price, the concept, and the fact that my husband's eyes will be a little safer (with the addition of safety glasses from now on)!.
The bottle is not kept in the holder because the holder does not apply sufficient pressure. When it hits the ground, the bottle breaks the seal and leaks, rendering it useless and destined for the trash. In addition, the lid's design is terrible; it requires the user to peel off a plastic wrapper before twisting off a cap while blindfolded. Purchase the Honeywell version with the easy-off T lid, which I've used when I couldn't see due to gasoline in my eyes.
The eye wash solution is fine, and the bottle in which it is packaged functions properly, but the plastic case in which the eye wash bottle is housed is of poor quality. I ordered four of these, two of which arrived broken and the other two with stress cracks. The bottle's weight is simply too great for the low-quality case intended to hold it. An eye wash station that cannot hold the eye wash is ineffective and will not satisfy OSHA, let alone assist someone with an eye infection.
The eyewash is fine, but the holder is a disaster that fell the first day it was installed in our store. As a result, the brand new bottle of eyewash was also broken. It may be preferable if you wash in your own container.
The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the case was broken when it arrived, despite the fact that it was double-protected. boxed. I think I broke the green plastic when I took the bottle out because it's so thin. I've secured it to the wall above my shop sink and plan to use glue to repair the crack. br>br>PLEASE tell the people who make this to double or triple the thickness of the plastic, even if it costs them an extra two dollars.
