Questions & Answers

Are these the same lights as wagan fred?

I think they're the same person. It's not out of the realm of possibility that they're both manufactured by the same company.

Is this an Amber or a White led?

They're leds in the color orange. The lenses are crystal clear. It appears to be eight strobe sequences. It has a white led on a flat surface that can be used as a flashlight.

Can these be used in the event of a snowmobiling emergency? Are they bright enough for Serchand Rescue to see them?

Without a doubt. I gave all of mine away except one, which I'm sure is bright enough to be seen from the air or on the road. They're absolutely fantastic. I'm going to go out and buy another pack so that I can have two in my trunk. They have a variety of settings, including flashing, multi-flashing, and, I believe, Flashlight, as well as staying on. I'm ordering more of this product because it's so good! I'd like to see one in the trunks of the people I care about.

Is it true that no one reads the description of the item? When people read, they can usually find answers to their questions. ?

The majority of people avoid reading descriptions because it is too time consuming. smh

In fact, I had to use them in a pinch
3/5

With ambient light, it is not visible on the ground from afar. I collided with a shard of metal thrown from the car in front of me, which became lodged under my wheel well. In the dark, alongside the congested interstate, I pulled over and deployed my pack of these. These were simply not bright enough in comparison to the other cars' headlights. They were barely visible against my emergency flashers. The ones I stuck on my car were useful because they contrasted with the color of my vehicle. Putting them on the ground in front of the car, however, was ineffective because they were washed out by other cars' headlights.

Take a look! The review is lengthy, but it is well worth reading

Get these now if you don't already have them in your car's emergency kit. I live in the south, where the majority of the streets are dimly lit. In addition, I live in the woods on top of a mountain with many blind curves and no lighting. I purchased a set for each of my vehicles in case we needed to make a roadside repair and needed to notify other drivers. These are magnetic, so you can put them on your car or put them out on the road to give people a heads-up before they come crashing down on you. In addition, the light pattern (solid, flashing, sos) can be changed. My husband helps out on the fire department as a volunteer. He was working a car accident on our mountain, in the middle of the night, on a blind curve, a few weeks ago (driver didn't survive, crash scene took a long time to clear). They were most likely saved by these lights. My husband placed these lights on the road prior to the blind curve where they were working because we live in a rural area and the mountain volunteer firefighters are usually on the scene well before the police and ambulance arrive. Things could have been a lot worse if drivers hadn't received that advance warning. I'm going to get a second set for each car so we can properly illuminate our dark roads and warn oncoming motorists.

Ideal for a Search   Wow

Ideal for a Search K9 handlers who help people in need. On night searches, I've been looking for something simple and effective to hang on my dog cage while I gather the K9, backpack, and other items. I'm tired of using special batteries and chewing on a flashlight. Super strong magnets that stick to my metal dog cage, and triple A batteries that are already installed. Now I'm telling my coworkers about it. Finally, the search for a logical and practical lighting device has come to an end.

eye- enticing, durable, and magnetic This product gives you exactly what you want when it comes to these kinds of things; something you can find in an emergency, something that is well-made, bright, and appealing to the eye catching, magnetic, or able to be hung in the event of high winds or tall snow When you receive them, test them out to ensure that they all work
5/5

Put some extra batteries in the little orange sack that you've tested to work "just in case," as well as a small flathead screwdriver to change the batteries, and keep the little orange bag somewhere where it can be easily accessed at night- It'd be nice if it was dayglo. colored. I bought some for everyone because they seemed to fit the bill. Keep in mind that each setting consumes a different amount of battery power than the others. The low and steady one lasts the longest at 60 hours; add flashing and the batteries last a little less--but still a long time. It comes with a short manual that explains how long the battery lasts and how to change it.

The magnets are also very effective (the best test is to do it at home)
5/5

I bought several "sets" of these road flares for my car as well as for my various family members' cars in case of roadside emergencies. These are extremely well-made (e. g. , , weather-related evidence as well); I say this because I've purchased a large number of them and have tested each one with batteries and cycled through all of the possible flashing light settings to ensure that they all work properly before sharing them with others. The magnets work very well (the best test at home is to test the magnet of each one on the front door of your refrigerator before going out to your car), and these will adhere magnetically to the outside of your car very well — I recommend having several road flares per vehicle so that you can attach individual flares lights to various locations on the outside of your car: Both L and R go all the way to the top (roof) of the car. One on the front hood, R side doors 1 on the back trunk (or, if you have a station wagon, SUV, or pickup truck, the back tailgate). I also recommend this set because it comes with a large, orange carrying / storage case for keeping the road flares stowed (together) inside your car (or trunk), and I prefer this brand because the large carrying case can accommodate more than the original three road flares. Here's what I'm getting at: I bought these road flares in such large quantities that I wanted to store more than the original three flares in this larger, orange storage case, so I bought several sets at once so that each orange storage case could hold five flares. br>br>I wish I had these road flares in my car when I was involved in two serious car accidents caused by other drivers. My 11-year-old Honda Accord had just passed 130,000 miles the day before, and then it was rear-ended on April 15, 2012. A careless driver (i. e. , a drunk driver) brought it to a halt and destroyed it. , the entire back trunk was smashed to the point where it collapsed up to the rear window, and I suffered a severe whiplash injury to my cervical vertebrae. I immediately started physical therapy. Then, on May 16, 2012, my new car (purchased on May 16, 2012) was rear-ended by a careless, hit-and-run driver on the right front bumper and headlight. And- On the highway at 65 mph, a runaway (probably drunk) driver in a SUV! After colliding with the metal guard railing in the middle of the median, between the two highways, my car was hit on the right front bumper and headlight and driven off the left side of the highway, and the entire left side of my car was scratched up — I'll never forget it: I was driving on I-95 on Friday, June 8, 2012, and it was a beautiful day. 84 Eastbound in New York State, far left lane, and my new, 24-hour rental car My day-old Honda was hit on the right front bumper (SUV tire tracks up and over my car's right front corner, bumper, and headlight), and I swerved off the left side of the highway to avoid the initial impact and crash. My car had to be towed from New York state to DC because the front axle was so badly bent. In any case, here's what happened in these two car accidents: I wish I had these road flares in my car(s) at that time, because the highway accident happened shortly after 9 a. m. At 2:00 a. m. , it was pitch black outside, and I was on the left shoulder of the highway, near the "fast lane," with only my car's Hazard lights flashing. These road flares are much brighter and more visible at night than regular Hazard flashers on the front and back of our cars, and I recommend that you install at least two of them on the top of your vehicle. I strongly advise you and your family to purchase these road flares because, as I previously stated, anything can happen unexpectedly in traffic or on the highway at 65 miles per hour, and these road flares will be extremely useful in alerting others of your damaged or immobilized vehicle on any roadway — or the shoulder if you are changing a flat tire at night. Good luck to everyone, and I hope you never have to use these, but if you do, you'll be safer than if your vehicle(s) didn't have these road flares flashing on the sides and top.

The LEDs are primarily intended for use at night
4/5

The LEDs are designed to be used at night and are not bright enough to be a visible warning in traffic during the day. If you're concerned about this, look for units that have more than one LED per "window. ".
