This light was purchased to be mounted on a high voltage project as a warning light when the low voltage side that powers the contactor is live, and it works flawlessly. It is bright and flashes at a medium speed. It's easy to see even in bright sunlight. I use it in a protected environment, so I can't say if it's weatherproof, but it appears to be well sealed and claims to be IP44 rated (water splashed from all directions). It consumes just over 1 watt, which is about right for the 12 3528 LEDs it contains.
On TWO table saw power switches, I installed this light. It's bright and flashes slowly enough that it's not distracting but still noticeable. It's a great reminder that the table saw is on, even if the room noise drowns out the saw noise, and it should be on every table saw. Love it!.
This is an excellent warning light at an excellent price, and it also comes in blue.
When the shore power is restored, it notifies me.
A great low-cost security device with a high level of effectiveness.
