I believe I've deduced what the problem is: This item is not meant to be used as an eyewash on a regular basis. It's only meant to be used in an emergency, such as in a chemistry lab. The general idea appears to be to pour the entire bottle into the patient's eyes until he or she can reach a hospital or medical facility. br>br>At first glance, the cap appears to have "ears" that make it easy to unscrew. I made the mistake of assuming that once the cap was removed, I'd be able to find a delivery nozzle that would allow me to instill the saline in drops. br>br>However, neither of these assumptions turned out to be correct. Even the cap isn't very good because twisting it requires more torque than the average male has. A pair of pliers was used by one of the reviewers. I made use of an X-ray machine. The thin depression between the halves of the cap was cut with an acto knife. There's no going back once it's been removed. br>br> It's always turned off, and there's no way to get the saline into your eye because there's no delivery nozzle. Remove the cap and pour the entire 16 oz in one go.
So. This eye solution is appealing to me. When I tried to open it, however, I became extremely enraged. The plastic top, which you must tear off, is VERY STRONG. It was impossible for me to believe what I was hearing. If this was ordered by someone who was elderly or physically disabled, they would never be able to open it. I'm a healthy 30-year-old woman who works out almost every day, and it took me WAY too many tries to finally get it off. 2) There isn't a way to close it again. Which is extremely inconvenient because people who order this are most likely using it for eye problems, and because you won't be able to close this massive bottle you paid for, dust will collect in the solution, defeating the purpose of an eye flush entirely. Good solution, but this bottle upset me so much that I will not order it again. 3) There is no tip on the applicator! To get it into your eye, you'll have to pour it all over yourself.
It's not very practical for multiple doses (e. g. , cleaning the eyes, and so on). There isn't any way to go back in time. sanitize the cap.
After that, it splits! Top with a flaw. This is the second one I've had. The same thing happened to me. Because the tamper evident cap will not twist, it must be defective. With pliers, I started out slowly. No luck- Then gradually increased the amount of force used. When you finally break the cap off, plan on transferring it to a new container and using an eye dropper. However, saline solution is saline solution, and it is not sterile. It's OK. This, on the other hand, is quite inconvenient.
When dogs are sprayed by skunks, the majority of the spray ends up in their eyes, as we discovered the hard way. It also causes them to become engulfed in flames. This is more effective than simply using water in cleaning their eyes. We now keep a bottle of eye drops on hand at all times because you never know when you'll need it.
What else can I say except that it's saline? However, because the extended flow nozzle was missing, I was unable to close it once it had been opened.
I'm unable to remove the top from my order! I suppose the product is fine, but the bottle is unattainable! Because there is no screw off cap, this must be used as a refill and then placed in a different container. To get the top off, we needed to get some big utility cutters. I'm not going to do it again. order.
This eye wash is used to finish off the look of your eyes. I have a prosthetic left eye that I have to clean out every day. Honeywell is cooling and removing any debris that has accumulated. I'm going to buy more!.
