This product really caught my attention, but I wasn't able to use it
3/5

It follows that I bought this gate for a 48" doorway, in bronze. It seems sturdy and I like the finish. I ended up ordering another matching one, but with some additional width for another area where babies and small children must be contained. Free of charge. I found the bronze version on Amazon, but it's not available in 53", so I now have 2 the same gate and 2 totally different gates. A color version is available here A stone can be either gray or bronze, and it can also be tall. In other words, the 53" one is a complete waste of time. There are too many parts to remove, so it bends regardless of how tight I tightened the screws. It does not seem to be secure (bends under pressure) and it bends because there are too many removable parts. You can damage the hinge between the movable and non-movable parts when you tighten it too much It will be very difficult for the gate to open if the moving part gets stuck. A third issue is also coming out soon. There are rubber screws that serve as the flat parts towards the wall. The flat parts of the 48" are plastic, therefore, the screws that face the wall are not as secure as the rubber screws on the 48" version. Inquired about the plastic circles on the same screws as the screws requested by the customer service department- Because of this rubber part, the gate is less secure than 48 inches. Be aware if you are shopping for a gate. My twin daughters are 8 months now, but only God knows how strong they will be at 1,5 years, so decide now whether you want to be secure or not. Thanks a lot.

My big dog will stay out of the rooms with this
5/5

Despite the fact that I did not use screws, I inserted the wall pieces into the I rent this house and I intend to give it to In our case, the pieces on the ends of the fence are sufficient to hold it in place. It has a nice style to it. The only wish I had is that I would have ordered white. The gate stays open for you if it is opened all the way. In order for the gate to safely latch on a wall when closed, an edge of the fence must really be tight against the wall. You have not properly installed your product if it does not latch.

A super resourceful toddler may have a hard time figuring it out, but it works really well
5/5

Installing this product is super easy. Every thing he does is figured out by his age of two. Sadly, we had to ditch the standard baby gates because he would either climb them, push them out of the walls or break the arm that forces them into the walls. In addition to trying to escape from the house constantly, he is also an escape artist. Despite the fact that door locks of any kind are useless, I tried something else so that I would keep him from getting into the room. I've had this for a week or two now and my husband still can't figure out how to unlock it. As far as I know, he hasn't tried climbing over it (shocking) and has not been able to uninstall it. For our other opening into our living room, we purchased as a gift a 41-inch tall baby gate. Within 20 minutes of having it installed, he was able to open the door. Here is one you can really rely on, it's the real deal and it even works for the busiest and most resourceful.

Definitely a lifesaver
5/5

3 of us and some cardboard was all it took to get it on and positioned since we have crown molding and if we put it at the bottom, we could have it flush. However, as soon as it was set up, I was in love! As we have stairs on the other side of the gate, I worry my dogs might fall over and hurt themselves, so I have it on the hallway before since my puppy has learned parkour and can get over it. As a result, this generally keeps them both away from there, and if either of them wants to go play on the stairs, he must wait until I'm ready so that I can keep an eye on him. You can rely on it to be extremely sturdy! When my puppy first tried to knock it down, she threw herself against it and did everything she could to knock it down.

52" gate that is easy to install and sturdy
5/5

It took me 10 minutes to mount the extensions and set up the gate so I could mark the anchor points. Our team marked and attached the wall anchors supplied, and reinstalled the gate, adjusted it, and installed the anchors in about 35 minutes. In comparison to any other task, finding the studs with a stud finder and attaching the screws and anchors took the longest. I would take about half that amount of time again if I were to do it again. An adjustment before mounting and adjusting a gate will make it out of square. Make sure you read the directions. Additionally, I did not have any problems with buckling with extensions, as was You must adjust the pressure so that there is a firm grip on the wall. In this way, the assembly is squared off. It is for this reason you use wall anchors. . . In order to prevent the adjusters from punching through the sheet, the pressure needs to be applied over a larger surface area on the wall- Among the rocks. To mount it to the wall, you will need to find a stud behind the section of wall. Additionally, I only had to adjust tension with the wrench that came with the kit. Any person who knows how to turn a screwdriver and twist a wrench should be able to do this.

The door is difficult to assemble, the mechanisms are sticky, and it is heavy
3/5

It is sturdy, which is a good feature. I think the bad thing about it is that it takes so long to install. It took us over an hour of tightening and loosening the bolts until we found it to be I initially had a difficult time latching the door at first because it was so loose. Although the door could close and open securely once it was tightened, it felt as though it was not It was only a gentle tug that pulled the whole thing forward. We tightened it a bit more, and it began to move. The door sticks now, even though it seems sturdy. I carefully followed the instructions and made sure we took the right measurements, but it just isn't as smooth as we dreamed it would be. We need to carefully latch onto the door behind us every time to not wake the baby or clip our ankles because the latch is difficult to open with one hand. The door swings back so forcefully that we have to carefully latch it behind us. There is something wrong with me and I am It's been exposed to us for one day and we're sick of The fact that it's better than nothing, however, is not enough to justify purchasing.

I found the product to be solid and sturdy, and it holds up well to my rough and tough child
5/5

This baby gate meets all my needs. A walker stuck in the double doors to our office, we couldn't keep the baby from pushing through those. Now this has been fixed. The fence is very sturdy. When our child stands and tugs on the bars, it does not shake or move. You can leave the door open and it won't slam behind you and potentially hit baby if he or she is in your path. This is extremely handy because when I want to open or close it, I don't have to bend over. It never occurred to me to consider the fact that the gate's higher height interferes with our doorknobs, so it is impossible for us to close the gate fully when our double doors are closed. In spite of numerous failed attempts to break into the office, baby has stopped trying, so there is no longer a problem. The fact that this can also be mounted on stairs makes it even more appealing to me. It was a bummer that I could not find the darker bronze color in this height and width, so I had to settle for You can't go wrong with this solid, sturdy gate if you're looking for a strong, long-lasting.
