It seems like the opening in my hallway is about 51" wide, which is between the sizes offered by most baby gates. 4 Gates have come to my attention, but each one has been either too wobbly, too hard to open, or just wasn't right. I'm really impressed by this gate The blanket is extremely sturdy and I have no fear of my dogs destroying it (they chewed through our old wooden blanket). If that last one did not work, I was convinced I would have to go up to the $100+ range It took me a long time to get it to work.

I am delighted with this gate. My wife and I both really like it as it met our needs and more. In general, I am very skeptical of any product made in China due to both its overpriced nature and the low I guess this had to be the exception (and it was). Due to UPS, the package arrived a day early and was damaged when it arrived. none of the components were damaged and the parts were all present. Video instructions on the vendors' site were very helpful and the installation instructions were very clear. In any case, my beloved wife (bless her heart) has admitted herself to not being very handy when it comes to assembly, which is why I am here! When she insisted on putting the gate in herself, I was absolutely astonished. I will monitor the situation. I was not involved in the project at all. She read the instructions and watched the video, and performed it from start to finish without help from me. All three extensions were used in our project, but some gaps had to be filled because our door opening was wider than average. There is no problem at all. A small amount of filler was milled The issue was solved by putting pieces of lumber in place. I remember the look of satisfaction on her face after she finished! Our needs are met by the gate, which is sturdy and a perfect fit! If you have a few extra pounds to spare, then these gates are the perfect choice since the door is wider than others. In addition, if you are going to carry children, laundry, groceries, etc, it is important to be able to open it easily with one hand! It only has one problem if you aren't careful when the pressure is mounting, it will damage your walls and paint.

The white gates we bought, this one wider, and the other one narrower, were both from the same manufacturer. In my experience, I was able to install them myself pretty easily after reading the instructions (therefore, please read the instructions first and if you follow them you should have no problems installing). The dog gates are on our deck, which has between four and six steps on each side, to contain our puppy and adult dog when we don't want them to get loose in the yard. They are sturdy and blend in with the white rails of the deck very well. Especially impressive is the gate's ability to be opened in either direction with one hand and will automatically close and latch, but it can also be fully opened to a point where it latches and stays Having ours exposed to weather means we will need to touch up the rust that can develop, like at the bottom areas of where the rails are welded, but I have been impressed with how they have held up to extreme weather change and rainy weather Because this product exceeded my expectations I wanted other those considering it to know it's worth the money. I am very satisfied with the gates. It's more my review speaks of the ridiculous beast of a son I have than it does to the gates, for NONE OF THE OTHER GATES challenged him even slightly. This is two of these that I bought for my toddler, who is tall, very strong, and so mechanical that it is unbelievable. Using a little shove, he was able to push the rubber pad away from the sticky foam parts, which dislodged the top just enough not to The gate is tall enough that he doesn't squeeze over the top yet, so he no longer feels excluded, but the gate keeps him busy for a few minutes before he braves passing into or out of where As long as your kid or pet is normal, I think these are great and worth the money.
