It is poorly manufactured and backed up by even worst customer service. As in no customer service. There is a problem with the latch and lock on the gate. There is a 1 1/2 inch gap between the top latch and the handle that it should be attached to. It has been two weeks since I purchased this. I've contacted customer service both times, and they ignored me.

However, support does not answer the phone. My 7-year-old sliced the hinges and spring in half after swinging the gate open a few times. My email to BalanceFrom's support team 16 days ago has yet to be responded to. My recommendation is not to purchase this product. Their customer support team will not be responsive if anything goes wrong. It was a bad experience

This gate keeps my large dog and my new puppy out of specific areas at specific times, and because it's mostly metal, they don't even try to chew on it because it doesn't appear to be dangerous. One of the only problems is that it isn't easily moved. Nevertheless, if you ever plan on moving the gate to a new spot in your home, you will need to have some plastic zip ties on hand. Otherwise, I would've given it 5 stars. There is a zip tie included in the package that keeps the gate in the correct place for installing it. The gate should remain open until it is installed, so I recommend leaving it on until the gate is installed. In our case, we had to take it down after the first installation, but thankfully we were able to fix it with zip ties. Considering all its features, I would consider this a quality product. This product has no sharp edges or any harm that I can tell and I'm glad I bought it. I may buy a second one(or two) in the near future.

Taking a hold of Automated opening and closing Its ability to swing both in and out, as well as the features that allow it to close, make it extremely nice and better than many other brands we considered. The quality of construction is good, the finish is nice, the design is appealing. A few reviewers complained that it did not install correctly - I would have preferred if it could be installed properly. The latch point of the latch is left open. To force the top end and gate together, I'm fairly certain some of those users did not correctly tighten the four hand knobs (especially the two on the top sides). Once the gate is in place, however, it is very rigid and will not move, even with considerable force applied to it during installation. A gate can be swung open even when it is closed. I am very impressed with the design and construction of this gate.

Our family has ordered two of these gates, and we have found them easy to set up and easy to operate. Both of the dogs in the household are tied back with ease by these sturdy leashes. The self-guided tour is also enjoyable since we get to do it at our own pace our favorite part is the self-guided tour An ability to close. Despite the fact that the plastic gates (made of plastic) worked, it took a certain touch to fully operate and function.
