Yes, it'll do the trick. With two hoses, I can run two frog type sprinklers at the same time.
The pump's activation level can be adjusted to some extent. To work properly, the float switch requires a lot of space. More than what a sump pump basin can provide, in my opinion.
Depending on the container, roughly 1/4 to 1/2 inch will be left.

This pump is extremely efficient. To reduce the concentration of stabilizer in my swimming pool, I had to drain it. I pumped 20,000 gallons in 24 hours, which could have been done much faster if I wasn't in drought country and wanted the pumped water to stay on my property. Constructed a multi-component manifold hose nibs to distribute pumped water through conventional and soaker hoses to various areas in my yard Yes, that put more strain on the pump than a free-flowing 2" hose would. In addition, because part of the yard is elevated, I had to pump water up an 18-foot hill. It wasn't a problem; all I needed to do was keep pumping. The power and efficiency took me by surprise. There was almost no cleanup because it was all stainless steel. br>br>I've used this pump a few times now, six months later. It's probably had 400 hours of use, but it's still going strong. Because of the heavy rain this winter, I've had to pump water out of my pool on several occasions. It doesn't take long to remove 5" of water from a 30,000 gallon pool when using the full unrestricted 2" hose. br>br>It's been less than two years, and it's already a piece of garbage. It had been over a year since I had used it. It had been stored in a plastic storage bin with the rest of my pool equipment and supplies. When I went inside to look for something else, I noticed the pump's top had rusted. When I took it out of the bin, I discovered that the clean stainless steel barrel had multiple splits and was completely separated from the pump section. Yes, it worked well when it was brand new. Before putting it in storage, I rinsed and dried it. All of the wires appear to be in excellent condition. I was shocked and disappointed to say the least.
I found it to be a good fit for my needs. I needed something to drain my pool quickly (it had turned into a pond due to lack of maintenance). use). This pump did the job and I was able to drain several thousand gallons of water in less than 2 1/2 hours; my only complaint is that debris can clog the pump and cause it to slow down; however, given its size, it would make an excellent pool or basement pump. The auto-shutoff function was activated. The off feature worked as expected, but as the float dropped to the side of the pump, it became necessary to hold it up until the draining was complete. That, on the other hand, isn't exactly a complaint. The auto- Shutting it off allows it to be left unattended and prevents the pump from overheating if you walk away and forget it was turned on. In addition, if you need it to start pumping in the event of flooding, it will do so as soon as the float reaches a certain level. Solid construction, attractive design, and plenty of electrical cord to plug into an outlet or extend with a heavy-duty extension cord.
I used to have a Liberty pump that did an excellent job on its tour! So- I did a 40% water change on the 180g tank, the 45 g sump, the 36 g bow front, the 65 g G/F tank. I did a 40% water change on the 20180g tank, Perfect. I ran it through a cycle in the deep sink to get rid of any muck, and it worked perfectly the next day. I planned to change the water late at night, and I had everything set up and ready to go! Eh - not all. The sump pump had failed to function. I plugged it in 2-, not quite believing what I was hearing. Nothing from the other three outlets. I removed the base to access the impeller assembly; it was not jammed, there was no debris, the impeller rotated freely, and there was no binding? I suppose the headline should be "One And Done!".
We hybridize tropical waterlilies in zone 6 and have developed and improved cool-temperature and short-season tolerant tropical waterlilies that can be planted outside in May and will bloom until October, sometimes until the water has a thin layer of ice on it. We use over 100 tubs and a couple dozen in-ground pools to do so, and our problem has been finding a pump that can handle the solids left in the pools and tubs while pumping all but enough water out to be removed with a wet dry vacuum cleaner. We have a large pump that can remove water and solids down to about an inch, a small clear water pump that can remove water down to a fraction of an inch but clogs all the time, and we tried another pump that was supposed to do the job but wouldn't pump the last inch of water. br>br>As evidenced by the float, this pump was clearly not designed for our type of use, but that isn't a big deal. Because the discharge is at the top, all I had to do was use a couple of 8" bungee cords. cords to secure the float upright to the garden hose adapter/connection assembly and the pump's leaf-cleaning functions Debris, snails, tadpoles we didn't catch, algae strands, and plain old yuck were mixed into the water down to a fraction of an inch, which the vacuum easily removed. I would have given it five stars if it didn't occasionally stop pumping, requiring me to unhook the float, lower it, and raise it again to get it to restart pumping. I was tempted to give it five stars despite the low price. It wasn't the pump's fault, but it arrived in a box that had clearly been mishandled, with the handle detached on one side. I found the bolt in the box and fixed the handle, and nothing else appeared to be wrong, so it worked fine. Charles Leach (br>br>Charles Leach (br>Charles Leach (br>Charles Leach (br.
After only a few minutes, In August 2017, I bought this pump. The GFCI is triggered after less than 90 days of use. According to Amazon IDeals, the fulfillment company only offers a 60-day warranty. I would advise you to avoid this pump and IDeals.
This pump was purchased to replace a failing pump that had only been used a few times over the course of several years. That seems to be a common issue, and I haven't had this pump long enough to know how well it will hold up. br>My garden houses don't fit, but I had a 1 1/2" pool filter hose on hand that fit perfectly, so I used it to lower my 20,000 pool from mid-skinnier to 3 inches below the returns after my pool pump motor failed, and again after Florence's effects lowered it. I've also used it to pump out 60 gallon rain barrels on several occasions and intend to purchase a second unit so that I won't have to keep hauling the pump from the back to the front of the house. A barrel can be pumped out in about a minute and a half. br>br>The pump is quick, appears to be well-made, and is significantly less expensive than similar pumps sold in big-box stores.
