We put this in a basement bathroom where a similar unit had been installed a few years before. The old one eventually failed, and whenever the water in the bathroom was turned on, it seemed to run constantly. When our plumber replaced the old one, he informed us that the previous one had been installed with numerous right-angle connections. angles in the outflow piping, which the installation manual strongly advises against. As a result, pay close attention to the instructions. The pump has a difficult time with right angles. Make use of the 45-minute rule. Degree connectors are provided, and the route to the line leading outside the house should be as straight as possible.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind. It is measured in metric units. br>br> With pvc pipe, it's fairly close to American measurements. br>br>This was for a tiny house on wheels. The pump is tucked away beneath the trailer. br>br>I was able to connect a three-inch line from a regular toilet to this, as well as a two-inch pvc down to an inch and a quarter for the shower and sink. Only the solids from the toilet are macerated in the grey water. The clamps and boot made it easy to connect the three-inch toilet line to this. They recommend using the saniflow toilet, but as I previously stated, it can be connected to and used with a regular toilet if your application requires it. I couldn't put the pump on the same level as the toilet, and I couldn't dig into the sewer main because I was in a tight spot. I connected the one-inch pump line to the sewer stack, and it works perfectly.
This is an excellent deal. I bought this to replace an overpriced one that had been having problems for about a year, and after several failed attempts to repair it, I decided to replace it. We're using it in a full bath with a toilet, sink, and shower, and it wasn't too difficult for them to install, even though the inlets weren't the same size. Ours didn't come with a manual or instructions, but Google took care of that right away. We've only had it for a few weeks, but it has already resolved all of our problems. I'd say it's about as loud as our old one, but it doesn't run as long or as frequently, which I assume is due to the fact that it's more efficient. Save some cash by going with the Silent Venus.
It's a lot louder than any other speaker I've ever had. It cost me $300 to have it installed by a professional plumber. It will cost you $100 to remove it. The term "silent" is completely inaccurate.
The quality and design are very similar, if not identical, to the name-brand product. equivalent to a particular brand Several clamps and adapters are included, which eliminates the need for additional trips to the hardware store during installation. Although there were no instructions, this unit installed just like any other.
Very simple to install; however, the shower inlet must be equipped with an Everbilt sewage check valve. br>br>Use a check valve on number three as well. /4" discharge pipe, which did not come with an extension pipe as shown, but hey, I made one out of 3" pvc and clamp fittings. br>br>Works perfectly, but I imagine it would come on several times if you were taking a shower; it isn't overly loud, but you can hear it. Thank you! br>br>.
This needed to be installed by a plumber. Some of the connectors weren't in the same place because it wasn't OEM. Aside from that, it's identical to the original.
I put a hose clamp on it and ran a fully vented bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink and just dropped down with a 3in sweep then 45'd back to the unit under the crawl space and it works perfectly. If you have a crawl space and don't have enough room for a traditional holding tank and pump system, this is a great alternative. It also functions as a replacement pump/macerater for the Liberty Ascent 2 toilet system.
