No, I don't believe you require a vent pipe.
The macerator reduced all of the material to a liquid state, allowing it to be pumped. Because the system is based on a float, it takes some time to raise the float switch and turn it on.

The mercerizing process appears to be divided into two steps, which is a major flaw. It has been postponed, to put it another way. After the water in the bowl has been flushed, the sucking action begins. As a result of the fluid losing momentum during the process, some residue is left behind. Material that floats in particular is returned. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the configuration. I used to have a different model that discharged below the bowl (like a traditional toilet) and it worked much better. That, on the other hand, was a lot bigger and used much wider pipes.
Don't believe everything they say. I used a quick connect for my RV waste line (below the toilet) and installed it in a cheap cooler (for rain protection). I connected a 36-foot length of automotive heater hose to the truck's holding tank. Everything is easy to connect, and when I drive away, I can easily disconnect at the tank. Everything about it is ideal.
It appeals to me because it is functional and not overly loud. We use it to flush the toilet, shower, and wash the bathroom and kitchen sinks.
This pump has taken the place of the Saniflow. Perfect.
This is fantastic. It's doing a great job pumping water for my new basement bathroom, which includes a shower, sink, and toilet.
I really like how small it is.
It was well worth the money.
