I'm here! American Maid's specifications specify that their 5 gallon water bottles have a neck diameter of 53 mm, which is within our size chart's range of neck diameters of 50 - 55 mm A 55 mm wide screen. If you use American Maid bottles there won't be any problems
It is okay as long as the neck size is between 55 mm and 60 mm Using this pump with its 50 mm diameter and the 4 gallon jug, will work very well. It may be possible for jugs to have a raised center in the bottom, if so, the pump may sit too high on the neck, so all you need to do is trim one of the picks. You will need up tubes in order to fit this
If you use this pump on a standard screw-neck 5 gallon bottle, it will work
A manual pump of this size has an outside diameter of 2 inches. You can use it with your bottle of glass because it measures about 57mm and is 25 inches long.

I have also experienced the bad smell and see that all parts are very thin and made of cheap plastic material, as a lot of reviews mentioned. Assuming it must be made in China, I estimated it must be made in China. What's worse for me is that the screw on the gray and blue body parts is not tight enough and keeps coming loose. The air leaks and the water flow is very low, so I have to press so many times to get just a cup of water out.
It was an excellent addition to the camping equipment to have a water pump. I liked it because it pumps well and is durable. Overtightening the neck can result in neck pain.
You will not be disappointed. Compared to my in-built cup filler, this actually filled a 16 oz glass faster Sink fossett that is line filtered. You can't believe what I'm going to say! My five gallon bottle looks just as large as I expected, but it does not look disproportionate. The designers and manufacturers of this functional and well made product deserve kudos.
Generally a pretty basic water pump, but incredibly reliable. As a matter of fact, it does its job perfectly and I only have two minor complaints This is *br1. Keeping the bottle or cup under the dispenser for a few seconds after you finish pumping is recommended A little drips from it
2. Once, I had a pipe fall into a 5 gal bottle and I had to clean it up. It should have been tighter, but I guess I wasn't paying attention. In general, it's a very nice pump, and it fills to zero. Quite quickly, I was able to fill up the 9 quart bottle of Soda Stream.
Our well was dry 5 days ago and we needed an emergency water source in our home. When I ordered this product, I did so in a moment of crisis. In the future, I plan on purchasing two Despite its excellent pressure, the water is dispensed at an impressive rate. It is at my sink's side, and I am able to dispense water to wash dishes, wash my hands, cook, and drink. Product could be beneficial for people with arthritis, but it is not recommended for people with that condition. There is a bit of hand power required to operate the manual pump. This product is also available in a battery-operated version.
My mother is old school and prefers to drink her water from those big 5 gallon containers. I bought this book for her. As compared to tipping over the big heavy container, using this pump has made a world of difference. This item has been well received by all of us.
These are better for me, since I feel they are clean than those containers where you simply turn the 5 gallon water upside down. I can prevent dust from getting into my water by using this. There is a little bit of a challenge getting the top on straight in this version, but I was able to do it with a little patience.
