Questions & Answers

Is there a maximum distance that water can be pushed?

It was easy to push it to the top of a 150-foot hill. - Do not forget - As it's a low-pressure pump, you should find that it works well if you just intend to move water. You will not get moving and pressure if you are looking for it.

Is there a maximum distance that water can be pushed?

At the corner of our commercial property, plenty of nasty water pools up. We use the pump to remove it. To discharge it into a main storm drain, we hooked it up to a 100' hose. I find it to be a pretty powerful Water and mud and leaves that goop up there equal the volume of a decent sized round fountain, but I can't estimate how many gallons that is. This pump is very good. I highly recommend it. It's been about 5 months since I first used it and I haven't had any problems. Compared to any little pump that you can find in a Home Depot or Lowe's, this one is quick and impressive.

Do you think this pump will work for me to drain a pool with leaves in it?

Objects that are 1/2 to 3/4 in diameter should be able to be sucked out, so leaves should not be an issue. Your drain may get clogged up occasionally, and you will have to unclog it. A plumber by trade, I think this is the finest pump I have ever purchased. The pipe is very sturdy and is indestructible. I use it all the time for sewer pits. Leaving it in water for too long will cause it to rust. It is not stainless, so do not leave it in water for too long.

Basically, I want to pump sand out of the boat lift so I can pull it up. What are the pros and cons of this pump?

In short, yes.

This pump is my favorite by far
5/5

It's a As part of my vapor blasting business, I mostly use this pump in my prototype vapor blasters. The machine is always exposed to glass bead slurry and delivers at least several hours at a time, every day, several days a week. One thing that is most noticeable about the machine is that you cannot hear it at all. There is an almost silent hush. My next wet cabinet will absolutely be upgraded, so I will absolutely buy another one when it becomes available.

The best pump you can find
5/5

I have been renting a similar pump from Home Depot three times a year, for over $50 each time, to drain the flooding I get in my yard in the late winter and It's not uncommon for us to have It works just as well as the previous pump. Investing in this was a good move.

It is an excellent pump and is well worth its price
5/5

The pump is very rare for me, but I thought it deserved a review. I have a grease pit in my shop that floods and fills up with water during heavy rain or snow. In this pit, there is a 4 ft depth. This is a 6 foot wide table. 20 feet deep and 20 feet wide. The water was about four feet long and I had about three feet of it. There is depth. I drained it down to about three inches deep in less than an hour with this pump. In this manner, water remains in the 2 inch discharge hose throughout the whole operation. The impeller section did not completely submerge I just kept it below the water surface and had no problems with it. There is only one downside to this pump, namely that it can only pump water down to only about 3 inches deep, unless it is installed This is not a problem with the design, since it is clearly designed in a way that does nothing different. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Pump to anyone who needs to remove a lot of water very quickly. It is rated at 53 gallons per minute, and I believe that it maintains that rating quite.

This pump is excellent
5/5

Since our company began using these pumps more than 15 years ago, they have been reliable. Pumping clearer water is what we mostly do with this pump. It is possible to leave pumps on accidentally so that they run dry for several hours overnight without them breaking down. It is only the impeller that eventually wears out that has caused us to have a problem.

I don't know what to say
5/5

There's no stopping this pump! The pump works very well. About 5 amps of power. The operation is very quiet. If you have a water depth over 2", it will begin sucking air as soon as it reaches that point. I got a Wayne water bug to go down to 1/16". This little pump is great. A 50' hose was attached to it which was positioned 7' above ground level. The water coming out of it in the yard had the texture of gallons of water. I was very impressed with the fact that there were no clogs and it worked perfectly. Having a great time with this purchase. In fact, it did what it was supposed to do. As soon as the basement water is removed, I will have everything I need to dry it out.

Continue to follow up after three years
5/5

I've only used this pump once, but I use a variety of pumps on a regular basis, and I've been very impressed with everything about it. As soon as I got this, I put it to use for cleaning out sediment from the bottom of an industrial boiler sump, lots of sediment and hot water. It did its job flawlessly. I don't have any complaints after running this machine for six hours straight and drinking several thousand gallons of water. An elegant product far superior to what can be purchased from the local In this case, we are following up three years after the last follow up review was conducted. This pump is still in use on a regular basis. Thousands of hours have gone by since we bought it, but it's still as good as This is something I would buy without hesitation again.

This trouble free pump would be a great recommendation for anyone who wants a reliable pump
5/5

Prior to this one, the old pump operated 24/7 365 days a year for three and a half years without a single complaint. The trouble free performance of this pump makes it a great recommendation for anybody looking for a strong.

A tool for the job that fits
5/5

I really like this pump for pumping non-hydrocarbon based fuels My pool needed to be cleaned faster. I dumped these last 8000 gallons out along with the grime that builds up during the winter months. Three hours were not enough to empty the pool and leave 3-feet of water on the ground A standing height of 4 inches. Quite impressed with that. It will take some time to tell how durable it will be.
