Yes, this is a fantastic pump, but it will become clogged with mud if used in mud! br>It needs to sit in a relatively clean area or in a bucket with holes drilled into it.
Mine is plugged into a standard 110 volt household outlet. However, I believe you could purchase an adapter to convert your generator from 110 to 220 volts. I have to do that occasionally because I have a travel trailer. Those adapters can be found at hardware stores and similar establishments; hopefully, this information is useful. This pump is fantastic.
It is a Japanese product.

Powerful.
I've had one of these pumps for years and years, and when mine finally gave up the ghost, I went out and bought another right away.
It's quite effective.
It works great, and I've had a lot of success with these pumps. This is a product that I would recommend to anyone.
This is a fantastic pump that was exactly what I was looking for.
Utilities construction crews frequently use this pump. It's tough and does a great job of removing water from the bottom to the top of the hole/excavation (12-). 16').
For the price, I'm not impressed; it appears to be tough and long-lasting, but the $100 basement watchdogs perform just as well. I use it to drain swimming pools on a daily basis. It has a lot of weight. It is quite heavy and has a thick, tough cord.
