Questions & Answers
Galvanic corrosion will occur if copper comes into contact with stainless steel without any form of insulation between them, especially if water or high moisture is present. However, you can solve this problem by wrapping the copper pipe in some kind of insulation to keep the two metals from coming into direct contact. br>Either electrical tape or a good insulating tap will suffice.

It's been less than two months since it was installed. To me, it appears to be corrosion. It's the type that corrodes if it's "stainless" - br>br>Early review of this product: the packaging was excellent, it came in a zip-top bag. Plastic expandable anchors and screws are included in the loc bag. br>Threads on the clamp, as well as the length adjustment screw and locking nut, are well cut, allowing me to tighten it securely on the pipe and mounting pedestal. br>Because I was anchoring to a cinder block wall, the supplied anchors were too small for my needs, so I used tapcon fasteners instead. br>Only time will tell how well the stainless holds up in my salt air environment.
It's fantastic! They hold the copper piping that connects my camper trailer's water tanks. They are the only ones I've come across that are weather resistant (stainless steel) and can go as low as 2 inches! Thank you for your time and consideration. I'm going to place a second order.
They will not fit a 2" PVC pipe unless at least one bolt is replaced on each and the two halves are pushed together with great force.
These were purchased to secure a large bookcase to a wall in order to prevent it from tipping over. Vertical spindles ran the length of the bookcase, and these clamps were secured between the spindles and the wall. The threaded rods make it simple to fine-tune the fit. They have a nice finish and don't stand out too much in a living room.
As a result, they are effectively ineffective - which is unfortunate because their quality appears to be adequate for the price paid.
This was perfect for holding up my expansion tank to relieve pressure off the copper pipe because I didn't have room for the strap type, and it was difficult to find a wall-mountable option. mount arm in this manner.
This is a fantastic way to secure a round product to a flat wall.
They were simple to set up and work flawlessly, and the cost was significantly less than other options I had considered. Because the design is made of stainless steel, it can be used outside. The height adjustment range is impressive and solid once tightened. Although the mounting screws are a little short, this isn't a major flaw. In general, these standoffs are a fantastic value for a high-quality product!.
