I needed a pipe hanger for pipes with a 4-inch outside diameter. 1/2 of an inch Unfortunately, none of the images associated with this item's product description showed me the exact inside width of the hanger available for nesting the pipe, so I ordered a 5-inch hanger just to be safe. inch hanger, assuming it would be large enough - That is correct. For the exact dimensions of the pipe in the hanger, see my photos - 5 - 3/4 of an inch br>br>The galvanized hanger is made in China and appears to be solid and well built; if it weren't for the aggravation of not being able to find the critical dimension in the product description, I would have given it a 5-star rating. a rating of five stars.
