I was simply repulsed by myself. The faucet was two inches off center. I felt like an idiot, to say the least. The tile installer then informed me of the new garbage disposal 'air switches. ' That could be done with the hole, and it would look like it was done on purpose! He was absolutely correct. Take a look at the photo to see how I got rid of my shame. It looks fantastic, functions flawlessly, and my faucet is now perfectly centered!.
You'll love it as soon as you get one. Wet hands are no longer required to reach for wall switches or into an under-sink cabinet! br>br>Insinkerator made my first two switches, and this one appears to be of comparable quality. I've only had it installed for a week, so I can't speak to its longevity or durability, but it's been working perfectly. With that caveat in mind, I'd recommend it.
If you want a metal button, this is the one to get. Despite the fact that it is described as brass, it is painted in the color of your choice.
When I first saw one of these, I knew I had to have it. It functions flawlessly and has a sleek, contemporary appearance. Because it is depressing, it is unlikely that children will use it, which is a good thing.
The switch is in excellent working condition. It has a low profile and complements the Delta Faucet that was installed perfectly. We replaced the granite tile on our island with a solid granite slab, which is a much better and more attractive alternative. It has a low profile to avoid interfering with the function of the 6' x 3' island, and it fits well under the sink, plugging into the outlet and providing two additional outlets.
When I first installed our dish machine, I plugged it into the same top outlet that our existing garbage disposal was plugged into, only to discover that BOTH outlets were controlled by the same single wall switch. br>br>Then I heard about these air switches from a friend. I read a lot of reviews before settling on this one from Sinkingdom. I was able to save a lot of money by not having to rewire an outlet, and it now works perfectly!.
It's a great deal and it's easy to set up. We made use of a previously unused soap dispenser opening. Removed the disposal plug and replaced it with the air switch box and air hose. All that was left was to reconnect the garbage disposal.
I had just finished renovating my kitchen and didn't want any switchplates on the backsplash. With this black button, I used brushed gold accents, and it's perfect. The nickel was returned to me.
