There's not a lot to say about this. It's a baffle that goes into the Insinkerator to keep utensils from falling into the grinder and to prevent back splashing.

I bought this to replace the cheap, flimsy one I bought a few months ago. Yes, it is more expensive, but it is the genuine article, as stated in the description. It's similar to the one that came with my disposal and finally gave up the ghost after nine years of heavy use and super-hot water. br>I'm so relieved to have a high-quality product in my sink once more! No more coffee grounds and other goop can get trapped between the flimsy, insubstantial gasket and the drain opening, causing an unbearable stench in my kitchen. It was well worth the extra money.

Exactly what I needed! InSinkErator sink drains from earlier models are compatible

Installs on top of the sink drain, not beneath it. There is no need to remove or drop the disposer. Yay!.

This is a great alternative to an Insinkator

I recently purchased a new home with a filthy, old garbage disposal baffle. This is a fantastic alternative. It's nice and flexible, but not overly so. It was a perfect match.
