I'm not sure because I'm keeping it out of the wet area.
Hello, if you have to reset it all the time, it's faulty. You can get a warranty replacement by going to the Amazon order page.
The remote and outlet are pre-installed in each kit. At the factory, they were paired. The remote can't control an unpaired outlet because each item has its own identity. In the same room, multiple kits can operate independently. Please contact us at amzusa@didikit if you have any further questions. com
This should, in theory, work with any disposal model.

When the plumber comes to install the garbage disposal, he finds a standard duplex AC power socket in the cabinet, but no switch anywhere in the cabinet or kitchen walls, and no hole in the granite countertop for an "air" switch, which the wife didn't want there in the first place. So, what are our options? Ahhh, look what I found! It's a wirelessly controlled AC smart plug with a remote! It plugs right into an existing duplex AC socket, uses only one plug (and doesn't block the other one at all), and has four buttons on the remote! On, off, 5 seconds on, 5 seconds off, or 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off. The remote has an adhesive-backed base that allows it to be placed almost anywhere or simply tossed into a nearby drawer. The remote can be detached from the base, but it is held in place by built-in magnets. For only $23, I was able to fix my garbage disposal switch. I couldn't be more pleased. A 2032 coin type battery is used in the remote, which is already installed.
I purchased a home that did not have a garbage disposal or a switchable outlet under the sink. This has allowed me to save a significant amount of money on electrical work. I've been using it for a few months and have had no problems with it!.
Our house's builder was oblivious to the fact that the disposal switch was located beneath the farmhouse-style kitchen sink. sink with a unique design I mounted the switch on the front of the sink and installed the switched plug because it is far too low for constant bending. It looks great in our white kitchen and works perfectly.
We purchased a "renovated" house with a "new kitchen" that included a garbage disposal but no power or switch. We were able to cut a hole through the counter on the inside so that the cord could reach an outlet, but there was no joy without a switch, and electricians are hard to come by in New England right now. We were able to connect the 1/3 hp inverter engine disposal to a solution as a result of this! I told my plumber everything so that others could benefit from my experience. Everything is in order. That's exactly right.
I've had it for nearly two months and love it! Ensure that your garbage disposal is equipped with a plug. isn't hardwired into the system. I really like the fact that you can set the timer for 5 or 10 seconds. It'll shut down on its own. It's so much easier than reaching for the light switch on the wall! My sister was the one who informed me of the situation. It appeals to her, as well. Her switch is about 5 feet from her sink, so it's made things a lot easier for her!.
Garbage disposal remote with wireless connection works perfectly. Simply plug the garbage disposal into the wall and place the remote wherever it is most convenient for you. It has a magnetic backing or base with adhesive back light and is compact and stylish.
It worked well and was a good idea, but after a month, the remote stopped working. I replaced the batteries, the light turned on, but nothing happened.
This was purchased so that I could have a switch or button on my bar top to control the bass. The large bar island sink is being installed in our kitchen as part of a remodel. I was going to install a push button but would have had to drill it out of the counter top, which would have taken more time, money, and know-how, so I came across this little button and it's been perfect! It's on top of the sink for easy access, and I can put it up if I ever want to hide it.
