As a result of leaking from the factory hose, I purchased this There was no difficulty installing it as some reviews lead you to believe. It is true that the coupling is different from the factory hose, which makes it a little harder to fish through the faucet assembly, but there's a method I've found that works really well. I installed it by tying the coupling to a 24" section of strong string and applying some silicone grease to the coupling after it was installed. As I fed the free end of the string through the faucet assembly, it ended up exiting beneath Next I reached under the sink and gently pulled on the string with one hand and gently pushed the hose through the faucet assembly with the other hand. The hose fed through the faucet assembly relatively easily, though you may have to work it back and forth a little. A small "O" ring was supplied with the hose to go on the male side of the coupling where the water enters. It is a good idea to install the hose connector ring before putting the hose on. In order to install the new ring, I applied a little bit of grease and gently laid the new ring on top of the old one while gently prying it off with a small knife. Be sure to install the plastic lock that slips over the coupling and water inlet when installing the coupling. Once the sprayer wand part of the faucet is installed and the weight on the hose underneath the sink is in place, the project is complete. For assembling the box, I used silicone grease, which was what I had on hand. You could probably use personal lubricant (KY Jelly or baby oil) as well The faucet hose appears to be of very good quality and is able to move into and out of the faucet assembly much more smoothly than the factory hose did. Whether or not it will last is a question only time can answer.
