Questions & Answers

The threaded female end of the hose that yours has is affixed to the water side(not head) of the machine, mine is a threaded male end. Do you mean the quick connect that attaches to a green pin?

I also have this quick connect in my setup. The picture does show that coupling that is included with the hose, but if you remove it, you'll be left with the male threaded end that fits on the green quick connect. In reality, I believe you should have just put that coupling in the box in case you needed it for another model. It was easy to open the box and get the job done in either case.

This model 33 870 fits this box Finally, you should Is brushed nickel a good choice?

In my opinion, the company has a single hose for the generation process. The slip connection is the same for both threads. It might be a good idea to

I was able to figure out a couple of things and it works just fine
4/5

There were a few twists and turns for me, so I wrote this review in case anyone else experiences the same situation as me. Replaced this hose with a new one (Grohe 46 174 for what is now called the LadyLux3 Cafe' Plus, Model 33 893 (Grohe Main Sink Dual Spray Pull-out-) A CD out), that was more than The hose is suitable and fits perfectly once you figure out how to remove the old hose AND install this one, as well as what parts you need to replace. The use of. Before you proceed any further, it is important to take into consideration the order in which things should be done. like an easy chore at first Turn off the hot and cold water under the sink before removing the old hose. A quick coupler is used to attach to the old hose. (The coupler appears designed to prevent the old hose from twisting. ) You can disconnect that hose by pulling down on the quick coupler under the sink (then remove/retain the long spring from around the hose after the hose is disconnected). The hose at the other end of the faucet must be disconnected from the sprayer head before anything else can be done. It gets interesting at this point. In light of the fact that it seemed to be catching on something, I had to contact Grohe consumer support to confirm that the old hose could actually be pulled out through the faucet itself. Getting the hose out took a bit of wiggling, jiggling and gently tugging and twisting the old hose from above. There was also an extra pair of hands needed under the sink to push the hose end up through the brass pipe. I learned that I would need to keep the coupling (at spray end) from my old hose and re-bend it to fit my LadyLux3. The lady at Grohe explained that I would also need to replace the spray head. Instead of the couplers that were included in the new packaging, switch to the larger female coupling instead (the thread sizes on them weren't big enough). It did have a threaded end that was compatible with my Grohe under sink faucet's quick connect adapter that was part of my replacement hose. As a precaution to make sure I could thread the new replacement hose back down the faucet, I used a bit of plumber's grease on and near the end to reduce friction when inserting it. The installation with my existing spring was straightforward from that point and took about 10 Set the new hose in place and tighten it by hand You will only have to use the quick coupler (no tools are needed) You won't have to worry about leaks. ]

I would recommend that you try the grease (or Vasoline) trick before taking the more drastic step of separating the pipe. In the - There are faucets. In the body The-and-file-where it is As a result- Think about it! The reviewer who used the sticking measure also applied it.

Simple to install, but be sure to read the reviews first! It is important to familiarize yourself with all the parts of the procedure if you are unfamiliar
5/5

*I also watched the Grohe video on their site. * On my install, I made sure the water was turning back on again It's easy to do if I use the old spring, the chrome nut off of the hose that connects to my faucet, and also the quick disconnect. I used a very small bit of lubricant to make it easier to seat the O-ring. The new hose is connected to the hand held by a ring. The hardest part was getting my quick disconnect to actually disconnect! I had to tug it a fair amount after releasing the sliding portion so it would pop off, and be sure to have some white paper towels handy since any water in the hose loop will quickly go everywhere. While I disregarded the advice to tape the old hose to the new or use a string to help remove it, I found it relatively easy to remove the old hose that was required to remove the old parts. The majority of it just slid out of the way except for the last six inches or so. That took some jiggling and a bit of extra force, but then it slid right on The new hose, which slid right into place after the old chrome hand held connector was moved to the new hose, slid easily into place from the top. Connecting the hand held to the faucet is essential at this point, since I'm not sure if it would remain connected or not after disappearing occasionally into the body of the faucet. As soon as you have the connected hand held seated into the faucet body, you can slide the spring back on, hold it in place, and adjust the faucet as necessary I was able to thread the quick connect back onto the rope easier than I had to thread it All is well now that the water has been turned back on. having a plumber come to your house at $100 per hour. In addition, I got to dump out half of the accumulated products under the sink.

You can buy this since it's OEM GROHE, and I've provided instructions on how to install it
5/5

A 2004 Lady Lux Cafe' kitchen faucet goes with this exact OEM GROHE hose. A hose I used 16 years ago lasted me that long. It is not advisable to buy half-price Chinese ones, since water damage is a hindrance. I didn't have a Red quick connect originally with a 2 but I did have a Red quick connect. The flow restrictor has a capacity of 2 GPM. The yellow non-restrictive shower head is the only one that is used by Grohe today. Now that I've got good pressure on my faucet, I feel much better. A string can be tied on the bottom of the hose you pull out to facilitate the hose change.

The hose change is a bit difficult. Attach the string you pulled through the new hose going into the faucet with the string you pulled through. A hose gets hung up when it is fed in. In less than a minute, you simply twist in a constant screwing motion with the new hose and pull gently on the string below, and it pops right in. Inspect the metal hose and follow the screwing in in the direction of the ridges of the metal hose. There is a ring that screws- There is a sprayer head in the sprayer. As a lubricant, Non Hardening Silicone allows the quick connect to swivel and keep the O-ring from sticking I am satisfied with how the ring seals. * * WARNING* Decalcify the sprayer by cleaning the screen and spraying the part that connects it to the nozzle. The head will break down when you dip it in decalcifier, which destroys the internal green substance On the spray head valve, there is a rubber ring. * If your faucet head is loose, it is a sign that the faucet It takes only a little wiggling and pulling to fix it The chrome pipe for the hose can be removed by sliding it up and out. Once this is done, just tighten the brass nut with a crescent wrench. It is important that you do not loosen the valve, but make sure that it is just snug enough. In my list, I included the non-profits On Amazon, I bought this photo of hardening silicone. With the tube swiveling freely, it is more convenient. Make sure to lubricate each and every O-ring The rings are. You should check out some Grohe videos on YouTube (see photos). To make sure it doesn't leak, put a paper towel below the hose before fast connecting it. This is an old plumber's trick. The towel should stay dry for a couple of days and then you should be good to go. In conclusion, this is something that anybody can do.
