For semi-rigid plastic water pipes, what fitting should be used?

To replace this hose, I didn't need to do any plumbing at all. The old had to be "unsnapped" and the new had to be "snapped." I learned how to do it by watching a YouTube video. That's how it works when you're replacing an older hose. It's a different story if you're replacing a faucet. This grandmother observes that there appears to be a YouTube video for everything.

I'm writing this in the hopes of assisting others in some way
4/5

I'm writing this in the hopes of assisting others and preventing them from experiencing the same difficulties I did. Because the builder was the one who installed it, I had no idea which faucet I had. So I went online and looked for a Moen Kinzel. It appeared to be identical to the faucet I had, with the exception that it was taller (I later discovered my faucet, which is a Camerist). So I went through the parts list and found this new part number. However, after receiving the part and replacing my old hose, the handle would no longer seat in its resting position. The female fitting on the hose's end was far too large. So I went back to looking for a number and found Moen 159560. It appears to be the same, so I ordered it, and it works flawlessly. Both faucets, as well as the female side of this hose (P/N 150259), are shown in the attached photos. If you remove your hose and examine the end, you will notice that it is thinner and lacks knurling. 159560 is the part number to look for. I hope this has been of assistance. I'm still giving it four stars because it wasn't the hose's fault; I ordered the wrong one, and it fit perfectly with no leaks; it just wouldn't re-tighten. take a seat in the housing.

BE AWARE OF THE FEMALE END'S OUTSIDE DIMENSION
3/5

The female end's INSIDE dimension is correct, and it connects properly; however, the OUTSIDE dimension is too large, and it will not fit inside the faucet neck. When I bought it in June 2017, it was already installed in my home. UNDER the female connection, the hose began to leak. When the OLD hose end is inserted into the faucet, the water leaks down the hose and into the lower cabinet. Impossible to repair due to a lack of part numbers, so a new replacement was ordered that looks exactly like the old one. It is impossible to determine the exact OUTSIDE dimension of the female end without the use of a caliper. It appears to be close to! /8" is too big to fit through the faucet neck. br>Thank goodness I don't have a full-time job writing technical instructions. I hope you've grasped what I'm trying to say.

WARNING! BEWARE OF THE BUYER! THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WERE SPENT ON THIS HOSE! MOEN SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS
3/5

JUNK! This is the second time in less than two years that I've had to replace this hose. It broke for the second time after I bought it on Amazon a year and a half ago. It leaked for days this time! My cabinets were destroyed, my wood floors were ruined, and there was water everywhere due to the hose leaking under the sink and water getting under my wood floors. Other reviewers' photos can be found here. Inside is a GARBAGE hose made of cheap plastic. This time I called Moen, and to their credit, they are sending me a new one free of charge, but they also informed me that this is a standard hose for them that is used throughout their product line, so I will NEVER PURCHASE A MOEN FAUCET!.

Make certain you purchase the correct hose
5/5

Only pullout models are eligible for this discount. Well, it turns out that this hose (Moen p/n 150259) isn't compatible with my Moen faucet, which is a pullout model 87017 Banbury chrome. The nut that connects this hose end to the sprayer wand is too large, preventing the sprayer wand from seating properly when retracted. (Note the two different hoses attached to the sprayer wand in the third and fourth photos. ) Because the hose nut is smaller than the sprayer sleeve connector, the third attached photo shows the proper hose. The nut on the fourth photo matches the size of the black plastic sprayer sleeve connector, indicating that the hose is incorrect. br>According to the Moen website, this 150259 hose is only compatible with Moen pulldown models, not pullout models. br>The Moen p/n 159560 hose is used in all pullout models, including mine. This has been mentioned in other people's reviews of this product, where the wrong hose was ordered. Although this listing on Amazon states that it fits all PULLDOWN models, it does not state that it fits all models. I didn't pay attention to what was going on around me. I'll have to go back and place another order.

Garbage worthy of a four-star rating? Junk from Moen! I just replaced an old Moen hose, as shown in the photo
4/5

This one is identical to the one I bought and installed here. By the way, this isn't an 11-inch hose as it appears on the label. It measures 30 to 32 inches in length, which is ideal for a faucet with a removable spray head. The item works, so I gave it four stars. And, to be honest, there aren't any other options if your hose is leaking. This is, however, a cheap piece of garbage, just like the attached photo of Moen's original hose. This hose should make Moen look bad. This comment is being written to inform people about what Moen does for hoses and what you can expect from this one. Moen, are you kidding me? This hose is designed to snap at any moment. I spent $750 on the purchase. This hose cost me $00 for my sink and lasted just over two years. Customers on other websites complained about their hoses lasting the same amount of time. Moen should be ashamed of all of this plastic garbage. As a result, I dismantled the original Moen garbage to determine where the leak was coming from. It could've been anywhere on the hose, to be sure. It's a ribbed plastic hose with a grey braided hose covering it. The grey braided hose is purely decorative and serves to make pulling the spray nozzle in and out easier. To summarize, this hose has performed admirably thus far, but avoid Moen when purchasing new fixtures.

As advertised, this product does not fit all "Pull Out" kitchen faucets
3/5

As advertised, this will not fit all "pull out" kitchen faucets. I got one, and the outside package said 150259, but the inside said 187108, which didn't match. I placed an order for a replacement, which arrived in the same condition as the original. Amazon's service was excellent, but I'm not sure if it was Amazon or Moen that made the error. I believe Moen is to blame. The hose's problem is that the end that connects to the spray head is too big to fit in the base. I've ordered a 159560, which I'm hoping will fit correctly.
