Due to the fact that the builder installed it, I was not sure what specifically I had. My next step was to look for a Moen Kinzel on the internet. Despite looking identical to the faucet I owned, it was taller (I later found out it is a Camerist faucet). Having received the part and replaced my old hose, one problem remained. The handle would no longer rest in its existing position. I found the female fitting on the end of the hose to be too large. My search subsequently brought me to Moen 159560 (this part) again. On the attached pictures there are pictures of both faucets and also a picture of the female end of the hose with Looking at the end of your hose and noticing that it is a bit thinner and lacks knurling, you can tell that it is thinner than the one in the photo. That hose is likely to be the culprit. Hopefully, you will find this useful.
It differs from the original ever so slightly. In addition to buying this replacement, I decided not to make use of Moen's free lifetime replacement since their call support line was overloaded, and the automated voice offered me to either hang up and cancel this call, or schedule a call back for 2 days or 7 days in the future. My patience was wearing thin waiting for them to call back, then I had to wait for them to send the item I received this the very next day from Amazon. It is now made of plastic as opposed to metal on the end that inserts in the water supply. In addition to being narrower, the new hose is also longer. Although the water flow and pressure did not seem to change, I noticed that they remained the same. There is no change to the length of the hose. Based on that 2011) so the instructions are reflected in this document. In Moen's diagram, there are 2 Renzo models that differ only in their Follow these directions Follow these tips You can easily install a hose end into the wand by placing it in a paper towel and securing it with your pliers or wrench. It will take anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes.
It is the head of the line. Pulling out the hose from above is the only way to remove it. My first try was to unbolt the head and to pull it out from inside the fixture, but I ended up getting it stuck in there This was not an easy task to remove. 1) After disconnecting the old hose, pull the shower-head from the bottom of the cabinet The hose should be taken out with the head. You are then supposed to unbolt the old hose so you can screw the new one on. Scuff the chrome with a kitchen towel or cloth to keep it from looking like new. Attach the bottom end of the hose to the fixture after sliding the hose back into the fixture. 3) Do not forget to remove the white cap from the non-working end of the outlet Give the cap a twist to remove it, and the cap will pop off. Even though I made numerous mistakes, replacing it took hardly more than three minutes.
I have ordered this only to discover that the coupler is too large for the faucet, and that all the nozzles would not sit back into the faucet. I am returning this. As the Moen replacement parts are guaranteed for life, I was able to get them free of charge as I called Moen.
I used Moen's product finder to find the Moen faucet we had in our kitchen by going to their website. Having wasted hours driving to Lowe's and HD in the hope they had what I needed, I now regret it.
