Questions & Answers

My new one leaked again after I replaced it about eight months ago. Are you able to tell me why the plastic tube inside keeps leaking?

As for my pull out spray, it does not stay in the holder after replacing it and I have to replace it once I'm not sure of the cause, but I am sure that the issue doesn't stem from the installation or operations since we barely use it to spray, but when I spoke with Grohe of course they implied that it was the I can run a feed line through hand tighten threads within minutes. Since I worked in the aircraft industry, I am confident that I will be able to install a Grohe faucet tube without damaging it. Unfortunately, I have become disappointed and will not buy any Grohe products again. I thought that Grohe was a quality product, but it is not the case.

This will fit the 33759 ladylux kitchen pullout hose, correct?

I think this hose will work with

The hose has a spout, but is there a trick to pushing it through? In my case, the spout gets stuck at the faucet base where it turns. ?

My old hose actually got caught in the pull as I tried to pull it through. As I watched, I noticed that the gooseneck spout seemed to be lifting just a bit. Therefore, I just lifted the faucet handle and the spigot just came up and fell away! As I threaded the new hose back through, I placed the gooseneck on the faucet base and the old hose was pulled through with no issue. Probably 30 years ago, my builder put the gooseneck faucet piece on wrong, but boy, am I glad he did!

This device has the hose inside the steel casing. Does that come with it?

In short, yes. If the steel coils become damaged, it is fragile. It is made from latex rubber that is flexible. The newer faucet designs from Grohe do not use this hose.

I have an issue with this listing (1500 inches?, easy to install, list is messed up
4/5

An old hose burst under the sink after nearly 20 years of service, causing a small flood under the sink, but shutting off the faucet stopped things from getting worse.

It is easy to replace the hose. There is no need for any tools. The other reviewers have suggested lubricating the hose as a way to get it through the faucet, but that isn't necessary, and I think it's a bad idea. In this first step, it is important to remove the old hose. There's a plastic coupler under the sink that joins the hose to the metal part of the faucet. It's similar to the one on a Gardena garden hose. Firstly, you pull back the coupler's collar, and then you can remove the hose. (When you do this, you might need something to catch drips. *) The coupler is attached to the end of the The spring hose guard can also be kept in place using this device. The spring can then be slid off the hose by unscrewing the coupler. They are not a part of the hose. Keep the coupler and spring. After you pull the hose from the sprayer, the next step is to unplug the hose. Try not to pull too hard. If the hose gets stuck, back off a bit while pulling and then rotate it a bit as you do so. You should be able to get it out easily by turning a few times. Once the hose is free, you can remove the metal sprayer by unscrewing the knurled metal fitting on the other end. In the same way, installing is the reverse of downloading. All the necessary o-rings and hose are in place, and the hose is ready to use All rings and fittings have already been installed. The sprayer should be attached to one end of the hose, then the hose should be pushed down into the body of the faucet. Again, you may need to rotate the tubing a bit in order to get it to pass. The response to one reviewer was Vaseline, but don't take her advice. Then, slide the spring thing over the hose under the sink. Taking it inch by inch may be the most challenging part. It's the easiest at first, then it becomes harder. The spring will stay in place once the coupler is mounted on the end. After that, pull the collar back and screw the coupler into the metal nub that supplies You should be able to complete your repair now. We'd noticed that the old hose was difficult to pull out, but never paid much attention to why it would be difficult. It seems that the old hose had been kinked under the sink, which may have caused it to burst. Even if there is no problem, it's probably a good idea to keep replacing the hose once in a while. However, Grohe has a lifetime warranty, but here, it appears that something went wrong under the sink, which was not Grohe's fault.

We previously had a plastic coupler crack, which was not Grohe's fault. In the end, Grohe was very kind about replacing it, but it is kind of annoying that a faucet so expensive relys on a relatively low quality This looks like a plastic part. Of course, all the water coming out of the faucet also passes through a plastic tube in the hose, so I guess it all takes faith in plastic to make a thing like this work. I guess that there are yellow and green couplers and maybe even a red coupler or two. In the Internet, you can read about whether one option is better than the other. I used a new green coupler that Grohe sent with my warranty claim to complete this repair. (I had replaced the coupler on one faucet, however the other faucet never gave me a problem, despite more use. )

To sum it up, if you are replacing the hose, you might want to do the coupler at the same time, even if they are a little expensive. My operating system has also been Using sink water alarms is a cheap form of insurance with no need to use it. There is still a mess on the listing for this product, stating that it's 15mm x 1/2 x 1500 inches. The answer is 125 feet, so 1500 inches is not the right answer. There is also a package with the size "1/2" x 1/2" x 1500 mm", which is just as insane but not incorrect at all. 1500 mm is the equivalent of one meter. It is a little over 59 inches long, or five meters. A 1/2" end of the tubing is not threaded, and can therefore only be connected to a Grohe hand sprayer. There is a threaded end on the 1/2" end, but it can only be used with Unless you know the threads per inch or mm, you have no way of knowing what else you can Despite the fact that I was bored, I didn't want to experiment. I have no idea what the listing is trying to tell us, but I have also been given a mysterious diagram with arrows and numbers. I did not make a big deal out of the fact that the listing said that I was getting a "3 pack", but the price said it was just one, so I did not make a big deal out You will still not receive a 1500 inch hose despite the listing now being for just one.

There is more leakage in the new one than in Since I have no other choice but to write a bad review, I am forced to do so
3/5

When I purchased this item in July, I installed it and it worked as expected. It's Labor Day weekend until the end of the week. About an inch below the connection at the sprayer, it started to leak from the hose itself. would have thought Grohe would back up its products better than this, but when I try to return or replace, I am told the return window is closed until August 31. The 27th of December, 2017. Do I need to blame Grohe or Amazon for this? That the product acted up so soon after the return period ended seems to be a very poor coincidence. 17 years had passed since the original hose and faucet were installed. As far as quality is concerned it seems unrealistic to expect a month's worth of improvements.

The spigot must be turned on to flow through it
5/5

replacement hose could not pass through the spigot due to the way it was made. I couldn't get it to work every time I tried. After adding liquid dish soap, I poured it over the end to make it slippery and jammed it back and forth a few times. The application was approved! It was very simple to install the rest of this piece once it was through the spigot. In case you didn't notice, it was the original replacement hose that was defective or perhaps I messed it up during my first attempts at getting With normal pressure, it could never allow water to flow through it. Regardless, a few days after it was purchased it started to leak. My replacement hose is now available. To make sure it was clear (and it was) I blew into it this time. My lubricant of choice was a spray lubricant I used on it and in the spigot, where it went in with no problem at all. My new Quick Coupling now works really well - I reattached it and clicked it in place - It is now more voluminous than it was a year ago.

Grohe stainless steel Ladylux Plus, model 33, has been installed in our home. The number 759 Since 1997, the KDO has provided goods and services to the public. There is the possibility that I did not need to actually replace this pulley Water drains out of the As I removed the hose, I noticed that the yellow plastic "quick coupler" [this connects the pull-out hose -br>was broken. Water clearly escaped through this passage, and you can assume that it was the cause of Due to the fact that the hose was already 17 years old, I replaced it to prevent a future breakdown. Watching a couple of YouTube videos on how to do this takes longer than actually doing it [it takes longer to do this than it does to watch the videos]. Observations and suggestions It is [or was] backed by a lifetime warranty from Grohe. When it comes to older items, contact them for replacement if you have your receipt and are willing to wait for a day or two. The Grohe USA website can be found at www. grohe. com. If you are replacing your pull-out bathtub, While you are replacing the hose, you SHOULD also replace the "quick coupler" - It's out of the In addition, after removal of the "old" pulleys, be sure to take the old bolts with it We took the hose off the faucet, but it's hanging there, so I'm not sure what to do now Up [hit an obstruction] when almost clear, it might be hitting the swing lip. Once the remaining pulley is removed, you can easily remove the last few inches of it It is not necessary to use any tools, plumber's putty, or teflon tape for any of the above described operations. You should shut off the water at the fixture or the whole house [as I did]. You won't actually be able to see or feel water flowing through the hose if the faucet handle stays closed or off.
