My Moen kitchen faucet is missing a hose, so I purchased this replacement. The product showed up very fast, and it was a very good price. There's no more good news. There are several reasons why the hose end that goes to the spigot is bigger. It will not retract into the base, so the faucet hangs limply out of it. I am not sure if it fits Compared to the previous one, this one is significantly larger and of As soon as we installed the sink, there was water under it. The next morning, we checked under the sink and found water everywhere. An issue with the hose that does not fit correctly in the Moen faucet was found to be the source of the leak. After connecting the hose three times into the faucet to make sure it was tight, I then pulled the hose out. This hose does not fit a Moen kitchen faucet, but I'm not sure what faucet it was made for.
A couple of them were bought by me. Furthermore, the part that screws into the faucet won't screw in. The threads are too small and aren't snug enough to hold the faucet in place. I even added some thread tape for good measure. I still couldn't get it to Same problem with a replacement I got for free. Throughout the room, there is a spray of water. The time spent on it is not worth it.
I found the hose to be very easy to install and of great quality. But, as others have pointed out, it isn't compatible with every Moen sink. There is not enough thread in the coupling to connect securely to the spray head on my Moen pulldown. I bought the correct hose, but it does not fit the spray You cannot use this hose with this model # and it will not connect to your sink spray head if you have my model # 87499SRS. Moen will replace it free of charge if you call them. The loss of my business is the gain of yours! Announcing an update A replacement hose was sent to me by Moen for free, and I was able to replace the hose quickly and easily. It is not necessary to show proof of purchase if you know your model number.
It took me a long time to write this review since I was hoping I would receive a reply from the I had a quick connect cable work as described, however, I couldn't connect it to the spray head due to the larger diameter (circled on my picture). It is the exact same part number. The latter is true, but not the first. In over a week, no response has been received from customer service, although I have emailed the listing on Amazon. I don't know how to rate this- I haven't heard back from their customer service regarding this product since it doesn't fit the pull down spray head.
It is a great replacement hose! I have no complaints about it. I liked how easy it was to install, how it looked and how it worked I was able to replace the sink faucet with one that looked just like the one that came with the original faucet, and for a WHOLE LOT less money. Home Depot offers these for $179 at my local store. You can save a lot of money by doing this. It would be a good option if you are in need of an inexpensive alternative. However, here is some friendly advice. Make sure it will fit your model, as some of them are for pulling down facets and others are for pulling out It is important to choose the right one since there is a difference!.
I found this to be the perfect The installation was completed in a matter of minutes. Overall, I would say it's a little lighter than the original but well-made. We will have to see how durable it is, as it puts pressure on the water line as the water is pulled in and out of the faucet.
The purchase of this was based on a whim, hoping that it would work but expecting that it wouldn't. My perfect fit and function made me so happy! I would recommend this to everyone.
It is not compatible with Moen 150259. I repeat, it is not compatible with Moen 150259. As a result, the threads in the hose coupling are much larger than the threads in the Moen part, because when I try to fit my existing spray head, the threads can never tighten enough to stop the leak. A further problem was that the spray head would blow off the hose when switching from an aerator to a spray. The thread -even when used in substantial quantities - stayed in place Despite the use of sealing tape, the thread wasn't sufficiently sealed. As I ordered and received the proper Moen Hose AND replacement Spray Head, I literally had to "glue" the hose to the spray head.
