Questions & Answers

Is there a PEX connection at the other end of the pipe?

If the female coupler to screw into the connection is on it, then it does. I hope you find this helpful

Can this be used with 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch ?

Although it doesn't seem to matter much about the fitting part, it is only the size of the hose but i put either an Y or 45 degrees angle there so it's fine to use

Does this one have a check valve? I'm looking for one without the check valve for my tank flush system. Conflicting reports have come to my attention. ?

It appears that the water flange in this picture has a check valve, as far as I know, we do not offer one without a check valve at

Do you know what size is appropriate for the 2012 Palomino Puma?

In this case, the inlet is standard. Several RVs in my area use this type of system, and it has been found to be quite reliable. Ideally, you would want to look for inlets with pressure-regulating valves, but it is not that hard to find an external pressure-regulating valve that fits between this and the water hose (Walmart, local RV shop,

This replacement part fits the Winnebago Minnie perfectly
5/5

During the check-up Some idiot in my family decided to dig around in my 2003 Minnie with a screwdriver and busted a valve. That idiot happens to have an Amazon Prime account and discovered this alternative. Both the filter screen and plastic knob are upgrades from the original Winnebago. The flange and body are aluminum, while the body and body are brass. The idiot who installed this had no problem, while I had a lot of issues. He is the one I mean. In order to replace the old screws from the original, I purchased three new stainless steel screws. The rule of three is better than the rule of A thick bead of ProFlex RV sealant was applied to the back side of the flange, which was then nutted I found this to work well and the city flange does not splash water out when the pump is used. It looks better to paint aluminum white than to leave it bare. That's the cherry on top.

The following would be a suitable replacement for Scamp RV It is equipped with a plastic check valve
4/5

The 19' Scamp RV's city water connection was leaking so I replaced the hose in this way. There was a factory-fitted connection on the Scamp which had two holes, but all the replacements I found had two holes on the flange either had a wrong connection on the interior side (male As I was not sure if the holes would line up perfectly even if I found a suitable two-hole pattern Although this was the new-hole option, I opted for it anyway knowing that several new holes would have to be drilled The replacement seems to work just fine and the cap is snug so there are no worries about it falling out while traveling. In addition, I added a Watts Aqualock push to connect 90 degree fitting that would allow me to connect the factory PEX cold water line. I also connected a Walls Aqualock push to connect quarter turn ball valve so we could use our 12v water pump without the connection leaking. The old connection dislodged (which was the underlying cause for this replacement to begin with) and we felt the need to replace it. As a result, I used Aqualock connectors, which are plastic and lightweight, which I found appropriate for a RV that would travel the highways for years on end. I would pay more for brass connectors if I had to work on copper plumbing at home, but these plastic connectors will likely last for decades in an RV. The riveting job on the replacement was similar to the previous one, except I did need to drill two new holes in addition to the one I was already using. Prior to pressing the connective tape into place, I used some butyl seal tape on the backside of the connection, which sealed everything including the one hole I would not be using originally in the fiberglass. It was tri- that I chose to use The "exploding" aluminum rivets that I use for my install have a larger surface area on the backside because I fold them down for my install so that I don't need to hold an extra washer inside the RV while I install them. We were able to create a super strong and secure connection using this method. As a matter of fact, the three hold flange actually feels solid and doesn't flex like the original two hole connection did, so I think that choosing this option was a good decision. - The only thing I'd like to point out and the reason I went with a four star rating rather than a five star rating is that the check It states on the specifications at the time that I purchased the connection (and at the time that I write this review) that it comes with Although I considered several other options I considered adding to my order, ones with plastic check valves turned me away but those with brass valves swayed me, as I feared they would last It became apparent, however, upon receiving the connection, that the check valve was made out of plastic, like so many of the other options I was considering. I suspect the weak point is the plastic check valve, which I suspect is not as reliable as the brass connection (like most other options). You can check out the check valve up close in the photos below. As far as I can tell, that one complaint wasn't significant enough for me to send it back for a refund so I installed it and it has worked fine so The white flange matches the white color of the fiberglass and looks better than the original chrome version, although I'm not sure if it will last over time. We have not used our city water connection other than to test the system at home and do not anticipate it being used much. In addition to that and the fact that I installed the inline shutoff valve, I don't expect I'll need to worry about a replacement down the road, but if for some reason this unit fails a year or two from now, I will certainly update this.

Exactly what I was looking for! The hose to this inlet should not be overtightened - I learned that way - It's easy to tighten by hand just tighten with your hands So you don't have to worry about leaks
5/5

A 5 star rating has been granted. There are no leaks, so that's good. I installed it in minutes with no leaks, so there is no need to stop that. It took me quite a while to get hooked up. I hooked up and unhooked every week at first. Three to four times of doing that was all it took for the item to start Then again. I have a tendency to overtighten, so I think I am to blame. In the near future, I will order a new one and see how it performs. There could have been a problem with the washer's compression, we'll have to In the event that it lasts for a long time, I'll keep you posted.

Thank you for making it so easy for us
5/5

Leaks are no longer an issue! I was having leakage issues so I solved them. I will no longer be getting cold showers as a surprise! the one that was originally installed in my building out of cheap plastic that kept leaking. There is no other way to do it than with brass! The following is a business & marketing plan In addition to being cheaper than B&B, the product B offered greater value. I originally wrote it in B. The rest of the parts I didn't need. I got this not for my city water inlet, but for my black water flush system, so the back-flow prevention valve was installed in that place. We appreciated the fluid flow check valve since it did not restrict the inflow in any way. Flanges are made of plastic and backed by a brass nut that is a component of brass threaded fittings. I thought they were all made very well.

Water flange made of brass that is very solid
5/5

It's a solid piece of water flange for an RV. There is rarely any way to tell how good something is from the internet, but this puppy looks like solid brass This is heavy and will last for a long time. There is a plastic thumbwheel on it that helps you snug up and then loosen the I am very satisfied with the result.

There's been leaking
3/5

The world over. I think it's the worst thing I've ever done. My tent leaks everywhere as I am camping now. It's a total waste of time. I would return if I were able to do so now. Nonetheless, it leaks water over the whole interior of my camper. The offer sounds good to me, but I'll pass. It's such a basic concept, but for some reason, no one can seem to get it.

My old one was plastic, so I wanted to replace it with a metal one
3/5

There is no mention that the flange on this is plastic, as described in the description. This one is staying and I will be looking for another that is all metal.
