Why is it not? After replacing the gasket at Home Depot and still having a leak, I decided to buy a mount. The old disposal seemed to keep popping off the mount, so I thought a new one would fix the problem. It is odd that the flange I needed to stop the leak is not included, since it is my only requirement. The bracket piece is a bit pricey, at $10 compared with $17 for the bracket piece, but it was all I needed to fix Although this would be nice to include in the replacement kits, I just thought I'd mention it. As part of their kit, Moen included it.
Thank you. The Home Depot did not carry this part and made me buy a new disposal when my current one only lasts two years. As I looked on Amazon, I found the answer to my prayers. As soon as it was put together it worked perfectly with the quick-locking.
It was impossible to find this part at the large hardware stores, so I was glad I found it on Amazon. It worked perfectly on my Insinkerator Evolution unit.

The original is exactly the same. As I was unable to find this item at my local home improvement stores (HD or L), I was very satisfied to find this on Amazon.
