Product Description

For any NEW installation or REPAIR on 4" ID pipes, a new waxless toilet flange and spacer system is available. (A clear 4" ID is required on the pipe.)
Spacers can be used to adjust the flange height if necessary, starting at min. to a maximum of 3/8" Difference of 1 1/8" in height.
There is no need for wax because the inward lip forms a direct seal with the toilet horn. The inside of the pipe is sealed with a flexible sleeve, as shown in Diagram A.
For flange repairs, see Diagram B, which shows how to install a new flange over an existing one. A pipe with a clear ID of 4" is required. (Visit the video at the bottom of the detail page for more information.)
NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certification has been obtained in the United States. (1) Flexible Flange (8) Spacers (2) Brass Bolts (4) 304 SS Screws, washers, and nuts, and a TOILET SEAL GAUGE to verify a seal is made before setting the toilet are all included in this kit.

Questions & Answers

Will it still seal properly if my pipe is angled directly beneath the floor?

Yes, my pipe is angled as well, and I was thinking the same thing. Just make sure the rubber goes in the pipe and tighten the screws, and you should be good to go.

My wastepipe is buried beneath the ground level. Is there a way to connect this to a 4" fernco fitting?

This should work fine as long as the inside diameter of the fitting is 4"br>It has been installed for almost a year with no leaks and was simple to install. Never again will I use a wax seal.

Is it possible to cut a portion of the sleeve to clear a cast iron pipe turn?

Greetings, customer! Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for getting in touch with us. Yes, the flange can be cut, but "seal points" must be avoided. Two seals are present, one at 2-meters and the other at 2-meters. 3/8" and one at 3" beneath the floor, allowing you to cut the flange to a maximum height of 1" from the floor. Thanks!

Is a lead bend pipe compatible with this?

As long as your pipe isn't leaking, the answer is yes.

It was well worth the money
5/5

For a long time, I've had a small leak around the base of the toilet, which I discovered when I removed the toilet and discovered the closet flange had been grossly mis-installed. installed a few years ago as part of a renovation- It was far too low, crooked, cracked, and unbolted to the floor. That day, I was most likely out of town. So, using the large spongy green flange, I attempted a quick fix. Surprisingly, that did not work, so I proceeded to the full fix. When I saw this flange, I thought it would be ideal, so I sawed and chiseled out the glued-on part. in the form of a PVC flange Quikrete was used to level the opening after chipping out the loose tile mortar. I also made a mold to extend the 4" PVC pipe just a smidge to make it flush with the tile, which was probably overkill. br>br>The nice thing about this flange is that it fits snugly in a 4" opening. A wax ring would be nearly impossible to place on my toilet because it is skirted. I used 1/4" Tapcons because my floor is a concrete slab. They were a perfect fit for the flange holes. In the future, I won't have to deal with a sticky wax ring or chisel out PVC, but I doubt I'll need to. The Flexon flange appears to be exceptionally well constructed. br>br>In addition to the spacers I didn't use, the kit includes small, slightly spongy shims to help with any wobble. Before I tightened it down, I used a couple of thin ones to make the toilet's base super solid. The spacers were not used by me. br>br>For the guest bathroom, I did the same thing. In that installation, the Flexon's long fit went past a short splice in the pipe. This flange will not fit in any pipe with an inner diameter less than 4". It fit very tightly in the 4" ID PVC I have, and while I don't believe it was necessary to do so, I will say that the installation height is critical. The flange is installed flush with the floor in this Flexon video. I placed them both on top of the completed floor, which was the perfect size for me.

Don't be afraid to make a purchase
5/5

My bathroom was only recently renovated. An old-style lead-filled toilet flange was flush with the floor beneath the old tile flooring. I decided to buy this product after doing some research on toilet flanges and proper installation, and it worked perfectly. There are no more leaks, and there are no more wax seals to worry about. I'll never go back to using wax rings again.

Great job on the design! Excellent product! This flange was ordered for a bathroom renovation in 1957

, where the original toilet flange was essentially crimped onto a soft lead pipe riser; most other flanges aren't designed to work well with lead pipe. br>br>Instead of cutting back to the cast iron and using a no-hub, I cut the lead pipe flush with the sub-floor. floor. The Flexon flange was incredibly well-fitting and sealed against the lead, with no deformation. The design is clever because it allows me to quickly adjust and remove the flange as I determine the best alignment for my needs. The material used on the outside of the flange also allowed for a slight offset, which allowed me to move the toilet further away from the wall. This same material meets the "horn" on the toilet's bottom, creating a tight seal without the use of a wax ring. br>br>When I remodel the downstairs bathroom, I'll be purchasing another!.

It really works
5/5

The installation was straightforward and performed exactly as expected. br>It actually works without the use of wax, which is a huge plus in my book. br>I can't comment on the spacer system because I've never had to use it. br>The toilet seal gauge that comes with the kit is extremely useful and eliminates guesswork when it comes to determining the proper height.

Worth it! Great product, but only 4 stars for sturdiness because of the unknown longevity
5/5

The seal is great, and it's easy to put together. The sealing surface is thick and fits perfectly around the outlet flange, with no diameter reduction. If I ever needed to replace the rings on any of my other toilets, I would definitely use this instead of wax rings.

I couldn't have asked for a better product for the job
5/5

Although a little pricey for what it is, it is well made and solved both my height and offset issues, so it was well worth it.
