Sorry, but my vac can't possibly be 58 decibels loud. That's a lot of silence. This vacation is far from tranquil. It's got an ear-catching appearance to it. On startup and shutdown, there is a piercing whine. br>With the garage door closed, it could be 58 decibels at the other end of my house. It's a nice vacuum cleaner, but it's not particularly quiet. br>I just ordered a sound meter to find out the answer to this question. I got 94- At a distance of about 5 feet, the sound level is 96 decibels continuous and 101 decibels maximum.
While reusable cloth bags are not available, the Garage Vac uses a 7 gallon hepa bag (included) or a 3 ply paper bag (HPB1PK), both of which are the same size bag and can be used with the Garage Vac by VacuMaid.
Is the (WORKSHOP Wet Dry Vacuum Adapter WS25055A Wet Dry Shop Vacuum Adapter Combo Kit) compatible with your hose? If it does, I'm going to buy this machine. I'll return the product if you say it'll work but it doesn't.br>Thank you.
Although a dusting brush is available, it is not for sale on Amazon. com

I am a professional dog walker who owns a brand new 2015 Nissan Passenger Truck that I recently purchased and replaced the seats with dog crates. I'm a taxi driver who takes about an hour. On a daily basis, 12 dogs are off-loaded. In all kinds of weather, they go to off-leash dog parks, where they pick up mud, foxtails, burs, and shed a lot of dog hair in my truck. Instead of using my big black and orange Black and Decker Shop Vac, I vowed when I got this beautiful new truck that I would get a new system to keep it clean and make my life easier. The Shop Vac was a pain to use because it was heavy and clumsy, and I had to drag it into the truck to reach the far-flung crevices. It's a real pain in the buttocks! Also, the hose and tools were not refined enough to get all of the park dirt, leaves, and dog hair out of the seats, etc. At first, I thought the GV50 lacked suction, but after using it for a while, I changed my mind. It has excellent suction for automobiles, but not so much for garage dirt. The GV50 has a very long hose that reaches around the entire length of my 20-foot truck, which is something I really like about it. There isn't a spot in my truck that this hose and long wand can't reach, and it has a lovely silver shimmer that makes it look expensive when it's coiled next to my lovely truck. It also has HUGE Hepa Filter bags, which I really like! I'm changing the bag for the first time in over a year, and I vacuum up a lot of dog hair and dirt every week. I never hung mine on the wall; instead, I placed it on a small stool and it works perfectly! The only thing I don't like about the hose's connection to the vacuum canister is the way it connects. Is it possible that I'm doing something incorrectly? Is there a piece missing, or am I missing something? This is why I gave it a score of four out of five. However, it is common to have to redo this connection. Overall, I believe this is the unit's only drawback. It's fantastic, and I'm glad I purchased it. The vacuum stays in the garage and only the hose follows you out to the car in the driveway, so it is not noisy when used for auto. It makes cleaning my commercial vehicle a lot easier and faster than it used to be.
The vacuum cleaner is fantastic! It's quiet and has a lot of suction power. This is the second one I purchased after being so pleased with the first. Because Amazon had a higher price the first time I bought one, I went to a big box store and bought it. That one came with a chrome-plated metal wand, and I checked the prices again for the second one, and Jeff Bezos had one that was ten or fifteen dollars cheaper. As a result, I purchased it. It's the same vacuum, which is quiet and performs admirably, but the wand is a cheapo plastic replica of the first one I purchased. It has no effect on the unit's operation, but be aware that what is labeled as the same product may have minor differences. Now, in order to get Amazon credit, they show one with a cheapo plastic want in the picture.
br>Installation was simple, and there was one feature in particular that I thought was well thought out: Rubber grommets are used to reduce vibration in the metal brackets that mount to the wall. It may seem insignificant, but it prevents my garage's wooden wall from acting as a sounding board. br>I had the unit unpacked, installed, and tested in about 8 minutes, with the majority of that time spent walking down to my shed to get the tools (2 Phillips head bit in my DeWalt drill, and a 7/16" ratchet). br>After only a few minutes of use, I was impressed by a number of features: First and foremost, the suction was superior to my expectations; Certainly superior to our current situation. Vacuum system for the entire house Second, the hose and attachments were of a much higher quality than those I've seen on other devices. crush- The attachments were all made of natural bristles, and the hose ends appeared to be very sturdy. The outlet is also located on the left side of the wall unit, near the bottom, making it very accessible if you want to use it as a blower to "clean" the garage or inflate pool floats. My wife has used it a few times since it was installed and she loves it. Finally, I'd like to remind readers that the fact that this product is made in America was the deciding factor for me. I'm not a big supporter of the flag, but I do want to purchase items that will help my neighbors get back to work. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
