Yes, I don't carry the bag around with me at all times. Before securing or locking the lid to the canister, double-check that the foam filter is in place. This keeps debris and water out of the intake, which protects the motor. Water or liquid should never be stored in the unit. If you used it to vacuum up liquid, empty it, rinse the hoses, remove the foam filter and thoroughly rinse it, then turn the canister upside down and let everything air out.
It's powered by electricity, so that's interesting. I wouldn't use it to pump gas because it could blow up! That's my take on it, at least.
When using the vacuum, I would remove the attachments from the canister. 888-Jayme 888-Jayme 888-Jayme 888-Jayme 888- 899- +44 (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) (0) (0)

I tried to suck some hair out of my SUV, but I ended up creating a gravity well, and my SUV, house, and dog all vanished. I did get all the dog hair, though. Quality shop vacuum. br>br>.
This was purchased for a woodshop club in the classroom. For about 9 months, I used it once a week until it died in the middle of cleaning up. I hadn't even begun to fill the bag that came with it. When I called the company (Alton Industries), they said that because I purchased it through Amazon, they would have to apply for the warranty refund/replacement on my behalf. The manufacturer should be contacted, according to Amazon. Instead of accepting the loss, I chose to leave this review. Be wary of the buyer! It's a good vacuum, but it won't last, and you won't be able to get help if it breaks down.
After a few uses, it stopped working. Stanley was once a well-known, high-quality brand that I'd known since I was a kid. This is an example of Chinese culture. created garbage I'll be back, and Stanley's nonsense will finally be put to rest.
I noticed this hole right in the middle of the hose after unboxing it and going to use it for the first time. It had only been 5 minutes since I took it out of the box when this happened.
It was delivered quickly and was not difficult to assemble. The power of suction is amazing. The three stars are due to the fact that it comes with a bag that you must insert like a regular vacuum cleaner and then remove and replace with a wet filter for wet pick up. All of my other wet/dry vacuums picked up wet/dry without the need for bags or filters. This is a lot of work, and you'll have to buy replacement bags on top of it. This isn't a true wet/dry vacuum, in my opinion.
Don't waste your money on these; I bought two of them and both of the hoses broke. It simply snapped off in the middle of use. The GLUE you see around the hose appears to be GLUE; it appears that this was a broken hose that the company attempted to repair by gluing it together and passing it off to me as NEW. This is the last time I will buy anything from this company.
This vacuum was purchased to replace a similar-sized Shopvac whose motor failed after five years. This unit was less expensive than a Shopvac replacement motor, which could have given me a hint as to what I'd be getting. The Stanley is well constructed, but it is a little louder than my previous model. What irritates me is that the hose is too short, and the filter (a bag type) needs to be cleaned far too frequently. To solve these two issues, I'm hoping to locate a HEPA filter and modify the hose from the other vacuum. It functions normally in all other respects.
Suction is a problem. Not powerful enough to clean the floor of a basement. br>The 30-day return/refund policy is extremely lax. br>br>Even after the first time I used it a few days after the return date, I was not eligible for a refund. br>br>I would like a refund, but the restrictions will not allow it. If I receive a refund, I will delete this review.
