Have a few Ridgid vacuum cleaners on hand. I figured these were old enough that no one had used a filter on them. Both fit perfectly, but the fact that the end caps were already included in the filter was a pleasant surprise. Only the center filter was included in the original, and the plastic ends were a pain to deal with - These are included in the replacement units, so there's one less thing that could go missing. Nice.
My wet/dry vac's filter was toast, and it was quite old. It sucks great now that I replaced it with a new filter.
It fit perfectly, and I've run several gallons of water through it, and it's still holding together after filtering the debris.
This filter is a fraction of the price of a name-brand filter. It's also poorly put together. The name. It is possible to clean and reuse the Rand filter. Unlike the name brand filters, this one came apart at the top and bottom. If you only plan on using these for one purpose, they are excellent.
Adding a clean filter to your vacuum will immediately increase suction power. The clogged filter should not be used any longer. Replace it with a new one and work harder. If your filter is worn out, this is a quick and inexpensive fix.
It's been on the shop vac for quite some time, and we've cleaned and reused it several times. I'm going to buy more!.

It was a fantastic purchase and a fantastic replacement. My filter had been destroyed for some time, and my local Sears store had closed, so I was in a bind, but decided to take a chance on this product, which turned out to be perfect, just like the original.
