Selected User Reviews For DEWALT DXV04T Portable 4 gallon Wet/Dry Vaccum, Yellow
I paid $60 for this vacuum, which is a great deal. For many applications, the 7-foot hose is insufficient. Rigid Brand 1-, on the other hand, is a Home Depot exclusive. When necessary, a 7/8" x 20' hose can be screwed into the Dewalt fittings at the vacuum and attachment ends to replace the 7' hose. br>br>I use a Dewalt DWV9000 universal connector with this. The term "universal" should not be taken lightly. The connector is compatible with nearly all Dewalt tools, but not the vacuum hose. I completed the connection with a piece of car radiator hose, and it works perfectly. br>br>Dewalt DID NOT REACT TO QUESTIONS FOR ADVICE. JSmith, br>br>JSmith, br>br>JSmith, br>br>J.
This was purchased to clean out my Kamado Joe grill's ash box. Cleaning out the ash and fire boxes is much easier with the smaller, more flexible hose. While this is a good compact vacuum, it comes at an exorbitant price. br>The vacuum is equipped with a hose, two extension wands, a crevice tool, a floor tool, and a paper bag (DXVA25-1). 4040), as well as a foam pre-filter and a cartridge filter. filter. Unlike the hard plastic hoses commonly found on wet/dry vacs, the hose is supple and flexible. It would be nice if, like most wet/dry vacs, it came with a brush tool. Because the power cord is just under 20 feet long, you'll have plenty of outlets to choose from. The crevice and floor tools are stored in a fold-up cover on one end of the top. The extension wands are held in place by a bracket on one side. The power cord is stored in a cord wrap at the unit's end. br>The wand storage is a bit annoying. The extensions snap into place, but I've discovered that if you tilt the unit on its side, they slide left or right out of the clips. Because I don't use the wands, I store the hose in the wand brackets. I use the paper bag attached to the end piece inside the unit to vacuum up fine ash because I'm vacuuming up fine ash. This thing has plenty of sucking power even with the filter cartridge and paper bag in place. The inside of the unit is kept clean thanks to the paper bag. br>With the toolbox provided by the unit- I can fit this on the bottom shelf of my grill/smoker workstation because of its similar shape. It's a little big for its size, but that's understandable given that it has a motor inside. Overall, this is a fantastic vacuum. This would be a fantastic deal if the price was lower (it's currently 94 dollars). Advantages: br>br>

Its 4 Gallon Toolbox Design allows it to be stored in a small space. A Sturdy Flip-Flop With gloved hands, the up Handle is a great option. On the top, there's a large waterproof on/off toggle switch that can be used with gloved hands. A 5 Peak HP motor provides adequate suction and is capable of handling any wet/dry cleaning job. For easy access, two Extension Tubes are mounted to the outside. A hinged compartment on one end of the box houses a Crevice Tool and a Wide Utility Nozzle for flat surfaces. The wet filter or miscellaneous items can be stored in the open tray on the other end. A 20-foot two-person canoe The vacuum is easily transported to your work area thanks to the prong power cord. Finally, a Crush Resistant Flex Hose measuring 1 7/8" by 7ft can handle large debris without clogging.
According to page 3 of the manual, you should have (C) Crevice and (D) Utility Nozzle. Both were missing from the box. br> The tubes were already in place. br>I'd like to correct something I said earlier. I didn't notice the nozzles because they were hidden in a compartment. br>The location is extremely well concealed.
My DeWalt 4 gallon shop vac (corded model) arrived in excellent condition and on time. It had been wrapped with care. The build quality is excellent, as one would expect from a DeWalt product. The plastic components are made of high-quality, long-lasting materials that give them a solid, beefy feel. The side walls and lids are satisfyingly thick, and they should last me a long time. br>br>It was simple to set up this vacuum cleaner. The paper filter went on easily and worked flawlessly, so I'm not sure why a few users complained that it was difficult to put on the paper filter. The hose is approximately 7 feet long, and it not only stretches and contracts nicely, but it is also extremely flexible while remaining heavy-duty. br>br>I like having a small shop vac that I can put on the car seat or in the cargo area and vacuum with. For the really messy pick-up jobs, I'm still using my old 16 gallon shop vac. This Dewalt vac will clean the cars, my workbench, shelving, and even the house if I make a mess while working on a project (hey, it happens when you're having fun). br>br>This DeWalt vacuum has a lot of power for a small vacuum. I haven't used the blower feature yet, but as the weather warms up, I'll try blowing leaves and acorns out of my truck's bed. I'm confident it'll take care of everything. It did a fantastic job cleaning both cars' floor mats and seats. br>br>My recommendation is to purchase this unit. You will not be disappointed with a more compact shop vac, and you will not be sacrificing any power or performance. DeWalt, you did a fantastic job!.
dry vac. This guy is a force to be reckoned with. I've had the traditional kind before, but this one takes it to the next level. It's lightweight and portable, with a hidden compartment for extra nozzles. This is my go-to tool for everything from garage cleaning to car vacuuming. Don't be hesitant to purchase it.
