I'm going to return it for a complete refund. The Advantagesbr> It is light in weight. Do you have a good suction? The disadvantagesbr>The hose is too stiff (harder plastic)br> The most serious flaw renders it completely ineffective for me. The hose does not connect to the bucket in any way. 1 gentle yank on the hose It just falls out on its own. On the end of those hoses, there are small slits. little grooves for connecting it (similar to a male) They're useful for the female part, but they're completely useless for the male part. Having to reconnect the hose to the bucket on a regular basis. Well, it's a real pain. Because the hose is stiff and hard, it falls out even more easily because it wants to twist. br> I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I'd been debating whether or not to get it for nearly two months because I didn't have the extra cash. I finally decoded it to just get it anyway, and I was ecstatic when it appeared. All of the excitement dissipated as soon as I put it together. br> Now I have to put it away. Please return it.

This vacuum has a cheap cloth filter that clogs up the first time you use it, and unlike the old filters, which were much more substantial and mounted in plastic, this one is extremely difficult to clean. That's for sure, it's not like the vacuums of the past with craftsman. It is not something I would advise you to purchase.

br>br>I am ecstatic to have received this at long last! I've been putting it off because we already have a 5 gallon professional vacuum and I'm having a hard time justifying getting another one. However, I was irritated every time I had to bring the big one in from the garage and maneuver it (complete with wheels protruding and a long stiff hose) into and through the smaller indoor spaces, such as a bathroom. And you can bet that when water needs to be sucked up from the floor, I'm already frustrated and not prepared to deal with a large, hulking machine when I only need something small. This little machine is fantastic!br>br>I ordered two rigid extension tubes separately, which I'm glad I did because they'll save my back. Part of the reason I chose this vacuum is that it has a 5-foot hose, whereas most other brands only have 4'. With the 4' rigid extensions, the extra length works perfectly. br>br>In addition, the electrical cord is 10' long, which is twice as long as other brands. br>br>This motor has a lower peak HP than some other models, but it passed all of the tests I gave it; it's small and intended for small pick-up jobs, and the motor is more than adequate for that. br>br>Another thing I discovered is that the hose can be coiled and stored inside the tub; it fits perfectly and is very convenient. I've seen some reviews that complain about the stiffness of the hose, but I disagree; perhaps they listened and fixed the problem? Also, I've seen complaints that the hose won't stay inserted in the machine; however, this has never been my experience. It snaps into place and can be taken out by twisting and pulling. For me, both procedures went off without a hitch. Perhaps they've addressed some of the previous criticisms?br>br>The small holders that keep the attachments onboard are simple and functional, not too tight or too loose, easy to slip in and secure enough to carry around. Regardless, I'm overjoyed to have this small vacuum that I can maneuver into tight spaces with one hand, even when it's full of water. It's reassuring to know that the next minor flood won't require me to use the big machine. It doesn't take up much space, so it's easily stored in the house; no more panicked trips to the garage the next time we have a flood.

I used to own the previous generation of this model, and to be honest, the older model was far superior to the newer one. It's still a good model, but not quite as good as the one before it. I bought this model because I thought it would be better than the previous one. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The original was more compact and easy to store. This one is a lot taller, and it's a lot more difficult to store. The only positive aspect is that it is lightweight. The original model was much more substantial. I'll keep it, but I'll look for smaller gallons with more power the next time.

It appears to have plenty of suction power to clean up any small spills in the car, shed, shop, or while traveling, though the hose's diameter will limit how much it can suck up. This model appealed to me more than others in this size range because it does not require the use of special bags. This is the classic shop vac design, where the trash is dumped directly into the bucket. The filter is a simple cloth cover that you can remove if you have a wet mess to clean up. Overall, I am extremely satisfied.

Unfortunately, I purchased this for my extremely busy husband and did not activate it until now. It hasn't turned on in three months since I bought it! OMG. I just squandered 45 dollars. This item is no longer returnable. It was a good lesson. Within a week or two of receiving it, it must be open and operational!.

My crawlspace was flooded, and I needed a way to get it out before mosquitoes used it as a breeding ground. I figured the wet/dry vac would come in handy if the spot in the crawl space flooded again. I also loaned it to a neighbor, who put it to good use.

This is a great little shop vac for the price and portability; my daughter bought it to clean the hamster cage. br>Only drawback is that if you clean up too far away from the unit, it will fall over because it is too top-heavy. To alleviate this problem, I believe I will add some weight to the bottom.
