It's a little bit. I like the saw and think that it is a good value even though you have to tilt the table to reach the bottom blade holder.
A flat blade should have come with both saws, and the two adaptors should allow the blades to be swapped from pinned to flat. Allen set screws are used to tighten the flat blade of the adaptor.
How hard the wood is can influence how fast you can cut it. As of yet, I haven't cut anything more than half an inch thick. Two inches is the opening of the blade, but I wouldn't cut anything that thick in any case unless the timber was very soft. The thickness of pine would be about 1 1/2" and maple or oak would be about 1". I have just made a guess based on what I have done before with the materials I have cut.
As a result of my order, the saw came with bent upper parts The attachment between the arm and the blade. In addition, the blade was not mounted horizontally and was about 5% off from the correct orientation.

It works for wood of up to 1/4 inch thick, such as spruce and other hardwoods. While I did use it to cut oak, it slowed down a bit, but the job still got done, even with that. The speed of the motor is well controlled. Also, I have it with a foot pedal that lets me use both hands to control and stop the saw while holding the workpiece. I am extremely happy with the whole experience.

The Ryobi equipment I have used so far has not disappointed me. As far as that unit is concerned, it.
I'm glad you like it It was plain to see. When you change the blades a few times, changing them becomes fairly easy,.
