housing of the miter saw has been etched with the angles. A paper scale has been glued on the bevel arbor in order to measure the bevel angles.

Does the Miter Saw have the capability to cut metal if a blade is installed that is 10" in diameter?

I would say that it would work with an abrasive cutoff wheel (as opposed to a toothed saw blade). My only objection, however, is that I wouldn't In order to make an aluminum table rough, hot metal chips will be ejected from a machine that is essentially a grinding stone.

Can you tell me how big the arbor is?

The standard size of the arbor is 5/8".

Don't be afraid to spend These cheap paper stickers were already peeling off when they were applied to the miter and bevel degrees
3/5

I have marked metal rulers on all of my other saws. In any place where metal could be replaced with plastic, they did so. I found the saw head to be wobbly with a fair amount of side to side movement I own other WEN tools (drill press, bandsaw, belt sander) and they work just fine for me. I was disappointed with this one because it did not succeed. In the end, we ended up with a Craftsman, which has its own problems.

This saw has received negative reviews. We found none of them to be The paper decal for the miter scale was stated to be available in customer reviews. I had mine machined so that the scale was integrated It was noted that the blade was significantly off 90 degrees in the review. A 90 was a true score for me. All I had to do was to adjust a fractional part of a fence. Fixing this problem is easy. A laser was also used that was spot-on. I think you got a good deal on this hotel.

By using this saw, I have reduced my operational footprint by 15 inches compared to my My last Mitre saw had an operational footprint of 15 inches
5/5

This one took it down by 15 inches. The saw added 15 inches of space to my shop for making more room. I rearranged my shop and had not made much space before. I have always been very satisfied with WEN Power tools, and this saw is no exception. The fence on this saw was not perfectly square when it was delivered to me. My problem was fixed with just one phone call to WEN as soon as I discovered it. It is a simple task to set up the indents and adjusters there are no variations. It is nice to have Wen power tools, and if anything goes wrong, wen's customer service is excellent.

A list of the 200 best
5/5

Miter saw with 10 inch blade on the market for $800. I get killed with reviews from people. A 200 is not available for purchase. You cannot expect to get a good performance out of an 00 saw. This saw cost $00 to buy. I give it a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. A vertical adjustment dial can be used to dial in cut accuracy. A miter. Bevels and chamfers are both used. It may be worth noting that the saw is visually pleasing as well. You shouldn't throw it around in your truck since it is mostly plastic. Its competitors are also in the same boat. The practice joints took me about an hour to cut. There's no need to worry about miters or bevels as this saw performs wonderfully. The blade you are using is ok if you make cuts slowly. However, I would recommend buying a better saw blade. All of the saws I own, as well as my 800, are used. However, it's not worth what I paid for this saw since the Dewalt is better top to bottom. It wouldn't be possible for me to be happier. It is important to remember that not all problems are due to the tool. With this saw, you can make basic cuts with ease. A miter. When you READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL and take the time to set it up properly, you will get sharp bevels and corners. Miter saws are available out of the box if you want a flawless product. Put the 800 to good use. Stop complaining and make a donation of $00 instead. Despite how costly it was, I found this saw to be more than worth it.

My saw is old and I wish that I had spent more money on a better one
3/5

Due to a couple of reasons, I will have to give it 2 stars. The miter saw I used on the job site was a Dewalt. I didn't find it particularly special, but it did the job. In my shop, I am working on building up my shop to cut bigger stock with a sliding saw. There are a few things I did not like about it that are causing delays when I develop. It was easy to assemble and I liked the laser guide too. There is no way to hold the extension tables In order to slide a piece of lumber across them, they must slide into holes in the side of the saw's base. As soon as you attempt to slide a piece of stock across them, they fall down, thus In addition, this renders the clamp, which was added for this purpose, practically useless. A saw blade, included with the saw, would be the next item to mention. On my other saw, I did not have nearly as many tearout problems, but on this saw, the ends of every piece of wood I lay under it are so badly damaged. began examining the tooth and found that the carbide teeth are missing in more than one place. As a result, I had to replace the blade after just one day of using this saw. *Lastly, I do like this sliding feature, but it's a little hard to use and a little loose. In addition to the sliding happening by itself when you turn on the saw, the blade starts moving as soon as the blade begins to move. A slide with no resistance does not exist. You would be understating it if you said it slides like butter. There is so much force in the slides that it may take some time to get used to it. Without the saw mounted on a solid surface, the base of the saw also rocks back and forth when the saw slides forward or back. As a result, I have experienced uneven cuts due to my lumber shifting from the saw base.

I am very happy with this product
5/5

I just got my first miter saw and I am quite pleased with it! Using the laser has helped me cut perfectly every time I cut. I am a DIYer, so I don't need a five hundred dollar saw, as it is only for small projects With some assistance from my husband, I built a deck gate. It turned out great! WIN makes great products that are perfect for people like me who like to do things on their own. I would recommend this product for anyone with a smaller budget, but who wants a quality miter saw! Thanks to Amazon for delivering it quickly!.

An excellent sliding miter saw at the best price
5/5

In my case, the saw I got did not exhibit any of the issues other reviewers cited. Knobs made of plastic for cheap? Actually, they just look cheap due to their orange color. My impression was that they were sturdy, not flimsy, and not I found the side supports to be solid, not loose. Obviously there was no play in the mechanism, and it moved very smoothly. I love the miter lock out of the box. It is solid and all set in place. There were deep etchings on the cast aluminum housing that made it easy to read the angles. While the bevel angle scale is printed on paper, I never rely on it to determine my bevel angle. If you plan on working with crown molding professionally, you'll likely need a dual bevel saw with a 12-inch width. In my opinion, this is a good saw for a hobbyist as it is hard to beat the price. I chose it because the motor slides forward on the fixed rails instead of a vertical position as with the Metabo. With a wall right up against the saw, it's easy to use. Unlike my old saw, where the rails always bulge out of the back and bump into the wall, this new saw has no protruding rails. There was a complaint that the rails prevent the stock from being set vertically, but the rails still allowed a good 5 inches of clearance, and you're not likely to be cutting squares when you have a full 12 inches of horizontal length available. As you can see, this saw runs pretty strong, and it has plenty of torque to boot, so much so that it just wants to elude It takes a few minutes to get accustomed to that, and a firm grip is needed when you first start it. I wouldn't mind seeing a 'soft start' feature on this phone, but for this price I can't really I did not think I needed to replace the good blade included with it since I feel that it cuts reasonably well. There is just one thing I don't like about It is common for small off cuts to fall down in the cracks. In order to address this problem, I intend to make a zero clearance insert. I would like to warn you. With the bevel angle set to 45 degrees, the upper fence on the right could be adjusted so that the blade comes into contact with it. All in all, I think this saw is a great buy at this price, with very few drawbacks.
