It's a cord
Harbor Freight has the Hercules stand that I use in my recording studio. It is on a different saw than the DeWalt stand. It is much more appealing to me than the Hercules. Hercules has more features than the Hercules, but they both cost about the same.

Get a new one. My experience with borrowing various versions of this that make me happy enough to purchase one has been mixed, but this version (DWS779) has disappointed me enough to make me unsatisfied. To adjust both the height and length of the wing supports, cheap star knobs are used. However, these don't seem to be easily accessible and are positioned in an awkward position. There are a few issues with these extendable beams. They are light and sloppily made, and positioned so they are little advantageous in aligning with the saw. Similarly, the stop bar is handcuffed so that it can be used only on one side, etc. My opinion is that it is not what I like.
Stunning! I can't stop looking at it! The result of this quest is that I now want to cut everything I see, and even offer to help others with their It is a must to have the sliding mechanism, and I regard myself as a miter saw snob now. Without flipping the board, you can cut a much wider board. I won't be going back to a saw without the slide!
The instructions that came with the saw and the stand were horrendous. If you buy these items, you probably pride yourself on not having to read instructions and will throw them away as soon as you acquire them. It is very sturdy and easy to roll, if you use the Dewalt stand. In my opinion, it takes too long for the saw to come off of the stand. When it comes to moving this from one place to another, it can be a challenge if you have to go up the stairwell of a friend's place to remodel. However, once you get this thing upstairs, I'm sure that friend will be Normally, the saw comes with a framing blade that is great for rough cuts, but if you are working on a remodel that your friend is trying to do, you would need a blade that has more teeth for a finer cut.
Saw with a good build quality. A number of new features have been added to this new one compared to my old one. This stand is very nice, although a bit tricky to close at first (which may confuse taller users) and if any higher than 5 feet it may appear like its opening should be a little Packaged together, this is a great value.
It would be nice if it had a quick disconnect so that you could remove it from the stand so you can transport it. It is A 12 inch compound slider would be expected to be like this. In order to build a fancy shed with a hip roof containing a lot of complex angles, I decided to construct it with hip roof. It saves me a considerable amount of time to have a saw and stand together.
As a matter of fact, I am probably going to buy this last one in my life because it is The box is very large and heavy, but it is also bulky and bulky. Thus, it will never leave your shop unless you have a stand with wheels attached to it. This is not portable if you need something that can go with you everywhere. you wish to have a great saw in your shop, then this would be a nice choice.
Use a saw for cutting. I've moved from a noisy Ryobi chop saw to this beauty, and wish I'd done it earlier. You'll notice right away the noise level for a power saw, in addition to the great cutting width. An accurate blade such as the Stock one is good. I find only a con to be its weight! Moving this item from room to room is definitely not a good idea. Purchased this item for myself and love it.
The concept is interesting to me. Compared with my Skill mitre, which I have now been using exclusively for metal cutting, this is a noteworthy upgrade. My Dewalt 12" mitre saw is rock solid, cuts smooth as butter, and the combo kit that I bought gave me two additional blades for cutting rough wood and producing finishes.
A 12 inch sliding dual cutting saw can be had for 200 dollars less than without the light, and the light can be upgraded for 80 dollars on the web.
