This will be able to cut a 3" wide
While it does not have this feature, it certainly isn't a deal-breaker, this is an excellent trim work, finishing miter saw, I am very satisfied with it, it's light weight, portable, and is well worth the money.

Although I'm a big Makita fan, I have no problem saying that this multitool is really nice. In the past, I have had an old version (think An MH style battery) that was fairly good. The item is on a As a whole A new level (yes, I said "a new level"). You don't have to worry about getting a portable saw if you are hesitant to do so. I've got two 5's and it works great. Batteries with a capacity of 0 Ah. He was even impressed, since he is a DeWalt fanboy.
Since it seems so long ago, I have been trying to get hold of this saw. The end result is better than I had This lightweight, ultra accurate, and tank-designed tool is built to last. The product is made My impression is that this may be small, but it is not a toy
I use this for small trim commonly It is suitable for 3/4" x 1/2" cap molding, cove molding, oak, and any other hardwood molding.
Well worth the price. I have complete makita cordless diamond blade miter saw set 10", 7", 10 & 8". Half inch, six inches The cutout is 1/2" and has a good edge. I use every one and am very happy with it. (I use one of these almost every day on a professional level) This little one has an LED light. Once you turn it on, you won't be able to turn it off. This is one of my favorite websites.
It is a good idea to try anything before you scoff at Makita to competitor battery platforms do not bother me as long as additional features that add Brushless, AC/DC, Price, etc are available. I blindly convinced myself that a miter saw would have to be corded or Flexvolt, but I may have been The price was only $490 when I caught it on sale. I probably would have gone with Flexvolt for the price and corded/cordless options if I didn't want to pay $35. While the X2 platform's price and bulkiness make it an overpriced product, it continues to impress me. LXT tools will continue to be released by Makita with the launch of the XGT platform.
It is like the Lamborghini/Ferrari of the miter saws. Despite its small size and light weight, this device is highly effective. It's like having a dream brake with the electric brake! Reduces blade time by less than a second, so you can work more efficiently. I worked light and cut it short There are several lines of LASER light. In the end, it's not unreasonable to expect a miter saw to do everything. I must also mention that the blade is amazing. Allows for finishing of the cut surface.
When remodeling my bathroom, my husband needs to cut the corners of metal trim as well as wood trim and baseboards very cleanly. The tool we have here is just what we need!.
There's no need to worry. When you are cutting only 1, 2 or 4 by 4 by 4, you're set. The lightweight design makes it a great choice. What do you think of it? Would you buy Probability is that it won't work. We would opt for the larger battery slide compound saw if we could afford it.
It provides symmetry, and it's worth the price. The trim was easily and symmetrically cut using this machine. We used it to cut aluminum trim.
It cuts fine without a problem. This product is great for making small cuts due to the laser measurement and gripping mechanism.
