Questions & Answers
The DCK521D2 package contains the following items: (1) Circular Saw, (1) Drill, (1) Impact Driver, (1) Reciprocating Saw, (1) Worklight, (2) Batteries, (1) Charger, and (1) Carrying Bag are included.
This is a complete waste of money. Get the brushless tools by spending a little more. Brushless tools have a significantly longer life span. When I tried to sharpen a lawnmower blade with these tools, the grinder ran for about 2 minutes on a full battery. Depending on the type of wood I'm cutting, the saw can cut anywhere from 6 to 12 inches. 12 cuts with a new blade, 2 new batteries to replace the ones that came with the kit, and the blade guard is prone to snagging on the wood while cutting. Why, Dewalt, do you continue to sell tools that use antiquated brush technology? To take advantage of an unsuspecting customer? Before you spend your money on these, do a YouTube search for brushless vs. brush tools.
The tools aren't brushless, unfortunately.
You'll need batteries with a higher AH rating, such as the DCB204 4AH or DCB205 5 AH batteries, which I recommend.

Every combo from Dewalt comes with that obnoxious flashlight. I have four or five flashlights in my possession. It would be nice to be able to put together your own combination. Dewalt should hopefully read this and make some changes as a result of it. For the past five years, I've been a loyal customer. I've been doing this for six years.
Dewalt. . I've been using these for over 6 months and they are of excellent quality. They have a lot of power, charge quickly, and perform exactly as I've asked. It's a must-have, and I bought one for my son because I was so pleased with it.
Because I've been a long-time Dewalt fan, the new 20-volt system is significantly lighter and has significantly longer battery life than my much-loved 12-volt system. I've been using the 18V versions for over a decade and love them. The drill is smaller and lighter than an 18V drill, allowing it to fit into tighter spaces. If you're working on a project that requires you to be away from an outlet, the circular saw is an excellent tool to have. It's not as powerful as a corded unit, and that's understandable. I'm afraid I can't make any comparisons to other brands. I believe I'm good for at least another decade.
If you bought these separately, the package would cost more than three times as much. The home handyman will appreciate these tools. The XR oscillating saw's inclusion is huge. All of my friends are envious and are on the verge of purchasing their own Dewalt combo pack, haha.
Dewalt is a highly regarded tool manufacturer. I always enjoy putting them to use. And everything works as expected with this set of tools. One of the batteries is missing. Two 2A batteries are included with the tools. Only one battery can be fully charged at 3bar, while the other can only be charged at one bar, despite the charger indicating that it is fully charged. On the battery, I was a little let down. Perhaps DeWalt is solely focused on producing high-quality tools, rather than batteries.
My complaint is that the product of Pa closes to cut wood, I only used it three times before it stopped working, it turned on everything but when cutting wood a 2x4 stopped working, I called customer service and they said they couldn't fix it, and I couldn't return it because the value was less than $100. Do not buy this tool, the truth is that it does not work well, and I tried to connote brands of tools but they only gave me failures, I w.
I'm not a professional carpenter, but there always seems to be a few projects around the house that need to be completed. Despite the fact that they are not brushless, these tools are more than adequate for weekend projects. In comparison to the DCD771, this kit includes a better power drill (DCD780) as well as an angle grinder, which I find more useful than a reciprocating saw.
I bought it for my new son-in-law-in-law-in-law-in-law-in law. He has big plans, but he hasn't yet gathered the necessary tools. I wanted him to have this as a starter set because it fits the projects he wants to do first and it exemplifies my basic tool-buying rule. If you want good results, always invest in quality.
