(1) accepts t and u shanks and comes with a wood blade. There are three cutting modes available. A vertical straight cut, a small osccilatoin cut, and a larger elipse cut are all available. This is a beast of a creature. I've worked with 3 ply, mdf, 1/8' steel, aluminum, 1/4" steel, and a variety of tubes. If you're in charge of a 1. If you use the smaller batteries (0. 0 battery pack), it will make a lot of cuts and feel nimble in your hand; if you use the larger batteries (4. 0) It's still maneuverable and lasts longer than a drum-playing bunny.
I wasn't sure if this would be a good buy or if it would be a used item, but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It functions as if it were brand new! It said it might have scratches or dents, but I didn't mind as long as it worked and did the job it was supposed to do, which it does.
Needless to say, I have a lot of batteries and didn't want to switch to a different type. My old craftsman saber saw, which was corded, was in desperate need of replacement. I like the laser guide and how easy it is to change the blade. There's no need to hunt down a screwdriver to replace the blade. The variable speed feature is extremely useful.
There is no power source available. The advertisement did not make this clear. One has been placed in my shopping cart.
It appeals to my tastes. I've had others that were heavier and cut faster, but this one works great for what I need it to do; just don't be in a hurry!.
Personally, I think the Craftsman Jigsaw is fantastic. To be honest, for the price you're paying, you're getting a good quality product; it's not a professional tool, but it's great for around the house. If you buy "good" blades and use them correctly, you can save a lot of money. You can make precise cuts; I've only used it on thin wood, drywall, and some ceiling tile, but it's an excellent product overall.
Its power and versatility in changing blades have proven to be time savers in household and yard tasks, and the battery holds a charge and is compatible with my other Craftsman cordless tools.
This is something I really enjoy. There are no longer any cords, and there is a great deal of power. I already had four batteries, so purchasing this one was a no-brainer. It has a lot of punch. I like that I don't need any tools to change out the blades. It's a fantastic tool for DIY projects around the house.
