Considering the price, this is an excellent deal. The router has yet to be used daily, so it's too early to tell if it will stand up to continued daily use.

As far as quality and engineering are concerned, I can see it now. One thing that stands out about this router is how solidly engineered it is. After opening the package, you are taken aback by how heavy, but nonetheless useful the thing is It feels good in your hand to hold such a well-balanced piece of equipment. There is a depth adjuster and locks on it that work well We designed and engineered it to be easy to use, and we made it so it can't be accidentally tripped over. I find the power and speed switches to be of good quality, and the operation indicator light is always visible in even brightly lit rooms. It is a superb tool with perfect mechanical fit, and it comes with the Soft Start feature to help prevent it from kicking out when it is started, especially at high My first bit was mounted and rounded-up, so I did not have to cut any new ones It is very easy to roll over the edge of a piece of wood. LEDs shine down in the cutting zone, so the LEDs have a great visibility for viewing the area. The handles themselves are also well-designed and feel great to hold. To get a feel for it - It consists of If you are a regular house hobbyist, then this would be the best option you could find at this price. A case or bag would have been nice, but its absence probably kept the price Additionally, I would like to be able to change the power switch from a horizontal mechanism to a vertical one Switch operated by an electric motor. The switch on the tool could have been more easily seen, or a push/pull switch like on Craftsman tools. However, if the tool is placed on a table, this will not affect the user.
Another Spanish speaking fellow is trying to shove the 1/4 inch collet inside the 1/2 " collet and the collet in a relaxed state is also a spring, which will fit well around the half inch hole(I tried that as well and it works just fine. Wow, what a mess people are in. A power tool should not be in the hands of some people!.
I like it a lot! The power is not enough for my PC router -- I have an amp that is the same and it When I rabbet some frames for a bar back, it almost sounds like it is about to die. As a result, I exclusively use rabbeting tools on the PC. It is nice that there are lights in the piece so that you can easily see it. It's a great idea to use clear plastic that can be attached to a shop vac on top to collect all the dust when (An attachment has been modified to fit). Therefore, do not let your guard down. Rails, stiles, or panels on cabinet doors would not be something I would rely on. Power, just not the whole of it. A pine or alder wood is a softer wood that runs decently. It is difficult to work with maple, oak, or walnut wood. The process can tell you immediately if it's working. This router is a 4th star because of the price and the extra gimmicks it comes with! I've used it on just about every project I've done so far and it has so far held up well. In the event that something changes, I will update the post.
As a person who is generally hard to satisfy, I find that this well priced, well powered Router has been SO much easier from the B&O My last 30 years of use were with D. After buying the router I bought the Skill router table, which is what I use it on. Hard woods are no match for this engine. I like the ability to remove the motor and all the bits to change them. A depth that can be adjusted easily. The router is a nice buy for the money. The RPM speed can be controlled by power light and soft start. The concept is interesting to me. There is a good chance I won't outlive it.
If you plan to use a 1/2" or 3/4" rounding over bit, you must widen the hole in the plastic to accommodate the width of the bit. In addition to that, I like the fact that the fan has a variable speed setting and that a vacuum can be attached.
Likewise, the fence is nice, as are the depth adjustment mechanism and the speed dial. Prior to choosing the Skil, I looked at a Harbor Freight model that was the same price as this router, but it was a little more clunky and cost a little more.
It has lots of features, so it's a nice router. The mount makes it easy to adjust and I have it mounted to a router table.
I'm really happy with this purchase. The drill has dual bit sizes, a light for the power on, a light for the workspace, a fine adjustment, plenty of power, and a nice-length cord. The only time it will break is if it gets lost or stolen.
