It is true that To be on the safe side, I purchased the DNP612 to use with my DCW600 cordless compact router, and, unless I'm missing something, they seem to work together. There should be a notice in the specs about that. I wasn't able to find this information the last time I checked.
This is not the case Although the diameter of the 6000 is the same as it is with the 611, its composition is more complex. It would be great if you could. the 6000 to a local hardware or home improvement store that sells Dewalt and find out if the base will fit the 611 trimmer. There is no need to worry about the DNP612 working if it does. As the body of the 611 does not thread into the plunge base, it is not engaged with the threading. This base attaches to the body of the router with just a clamp.
A DCW600 router can be used with this product.
There is a reason they want you to purchase them separately, I have gotten several router bases over the years and none of them come with screws

It is (almost) mandatory to use with a cordless router. The package gets five stars simply because it is what it is (and DEWALT gets zero stars for not packaging it with the router in the first place).
Because of the plastic height adjustment ring that hits on the vertical column cover, you do need to remove it. I doubt that you need it because the base plunges into the water. The only option I can think of is that if it worked, you could lower the height so you don't have to plunge so far each time you use it.
The build quality is pretty good, what you would expect from a DeWalt There is a nice, smooth plunge action, and it works just Plunges are locked only when a large level is moved in order to release and unlock them. My first reaction was to think this was a little odd, but once it made sense it was incredibly useful. Unlike most routers, you do not have to constantly plunge the router up and down when you plunge. "Down" means that you do not have to keep the router on all the time. As of now, I need to see if my Makita compact plunge base features that, which I'm not sure With the router in use, the level is easy to push with your finger. One matter, another reviewer said the template guide bushings did not fit, well they must have a weird bushing because my bushings fit perfectly. While my bushings are not Porter Cable ones, they fit every base I have, ones that are made for those I am very happy with how they fit in my last picture. Apparently the base is designed to hold some twist-lock accessories, but I'm not sure what they are and I can't seem to find anything in the manual about them. Are there any other linguists out there? This base makes the compact router even more useful. It makes it even easier to use. To be honest, if you plan to use the router much, it's kind of a must-have. I found the price to be very reasonable. I highly recommend this product!.
This is a 20V trim router that I bought to replace my old one. The fits are perfect, with the handles low and the movements very smooth.
It was months after getting the router that I bought this router base. It would have been better if I had done it Despite its high quality, this top fits perfectly with my router with no play at all. There is a strong grip on the mounting surface. There does not seem to be any slop in the plunge mechanism. Locking the lever to unlock the base is a bit difficult but it is still fairly easy to operate. Using this router has really improved my output and the quality of my work. This book is highly.
My friend told me not to worry about losing this product. Also, when I first came to the USA in 1995, I always purchased DeWalt tools, finding them durable, precise and well thought out. In a nutshell, In addition to having a few DeWalt routers, I like to keep them setup for different tasks, for example I am creating some Italian styled kitchen cabinets which are going to have dices, inlays, and recesses in the rear for 1/8's My system for having three routers, one for each task, eliminates hours of work that would otherwise be spent swapping out bits and setting up again. As well as eliminating errors almost completely, it enhances efficiency. In the case of DeWalt routers, I would prefer to have this plunge base as standard. I find it to be extremely This is an excellent tool, I highly recommend it!.
The DeWalt Compact Router is an excellent tool to own, and I strongly suggest you also buy the 612 Plunge Base accessory to go with it. As a first benefit, it adds a great deal of stability to the compact router, an issue that has plagued me whenever I've had internet access on a laptop The edges have been routed by hand. A second plunge follows. It is also compatible with DeWalt TrackSaw router accessories, although you'll have to buy some machine screws in order to attach this TrackSaw adapter to this Finally, it allows for storage of the router with a bit in the collet without having to turn it over. *br >
It is extremely simple to install and calibrate for plunge routing, takes less than 20 seconds and is very intuitive.
The depth has been set up very accurately. The dive is smooth and the rebound is fast. It is very easy and intuitive to use, and the lock lever holds the cut to the set depth A depth of 2 is required to plunge into the well. It is useful when you want to use guide bushings inside a template (my template height is 3/4 in. ), and you can easily go over 1 inch below the bottom edge of the template with a router bit.
