Currently, it's the smallest router in the world
5/5

You can use this router in an amazing way. I like it a lot! In addition to the Dewalt model, I also have the Dewalt DCW600B router, which is just as awesome! Until I get a better plunge master, I will use my Dewalt. On the other side of the pit, the Milwaukee will be a beast to contend with. There was a small change in the depth of the router bit when I routed out a large channel to inlay a bit of steel that measured 1/2" x 1 1/2". At this point, I'm not sure whether it was simply that the lock mechanism wasn't tightened enough, or if just that. The thumb of my other hand was also always on the dial. Not really something that would make me want to give it a 4/5, but I did find it a little bit unwelcoming. 5 is not as good as 4. Even though it may have been my mistake, it did not affect what I was doing in a negative way. There is nothing better than the dust shroud! It is very well working. It may be a little loose on the left side where you attach the shop-vac, and it is true that it is slightly loose. However, it does an excellent job in collecting dust. For me, the Milwaukee is a far better deal than the Dewalt that sells for $299. The 99 dollar bill and the 100 dollar bill "Bare" is all that is available to you. I now own the Milwaukee that I paid 159 for. Amazon is selling this book for 99 cents, but it usually sells for 179 cents. 9. 99 and you get a dust shroud and two base plates which will be extra for the Dewalt. 9. 99 and you get a slimmer unit which will be thinner than the Milwaukee. The Dewalt is leaner than the Dewalt, but it has more girth. You may want to take this into account if your hands are particularly big. It's not easy for me to hold things with my small hands and fingers In my opinion, I like the feel of both. My preference for the Milwaukee is the on/off switch is on the front, so I can easily operate it since I'm right handed. On the Dewalt, the switch is on the right side & more difficult to operate. It is ergonomically necessary to turn the power on and off with my left hand. I am making it my dedicated plunge router due to this reason. You have to decide what works best for you based on your own personal preferences. That's why you make the decision. The battery becomes dead instantly when it runs out of power. Having said that, I just wanted to make anyone aware, just in case they are thinking of making a money pass, to check the battery before running the engine, I do not have a professional shop, it’s just my tinkering hobby that I enjoy. I'm inclined to purchase a second One just for the convenience of running multiple bits at the same time and not having to stop and start all the time Replace old items with new ones. The only reason I think this highly of this little beast is because I think it's cute.

Battery powered router that I found to be the best
5/5

It has been both the Rigid and the DeWalt 18V batteries that I've used One of the advantages of a Milwaukee router is that it is the only device that has been proven capable of routing work through mahogany without bogging down or seizing similarly to rigid tools. The router also cuts better than the rigid corded hand routers.

At first, I thought I would have to get the high output battery. However, I tested it with my regular red lithium batteries, and it worked just as well. In my opinion, it's worth the 75 dollars more than great deals from other companies. I have used no other cordless router like the one I have.

BATTERIES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS ITEM! Doing the job does not require any special skills
3/5

The Battery was in some of the pictures, which was a little annoying. The package was delivered without it, but it was not me some time to read the fine print to find out it wasn't in there. I'm not sure what the reason was for not mentioning it at the outset. The Facebook Marketplace allowed me to sell it for $10 more than I paid for it. The battery was not on my shopping list. As far as battery usage, I have a Craftsman, and they are upfront with me about it. Must be lucky to have given such a rating.

The Brewers were on the attack again
5/5

Perhaps I am easy to impress owing to the fact that I am my first router. My first project with this router was to notch the legs on a new vanity. It is powerful, lightweight, and precise. When I found the modification, I had to get down on all fours. Before long, I had the modification down, and completed the modification without any modification. I would give him OK, I'm going to get a router, what now? I am all-encompassing nothing is a problem for me It's been a good experience on the M12 and the M18, with the possible exception of the handheld vac on the M12.

Easy, efficient routing is ensured by a powerful, precise and highly engineered tool
5/5

In my view, this router is one of the best on the market. My Festool routers are just awesome, but I find this Milwaukee router on par with them (and my Festool routers are just amazing). This router bit inserter is very easy to use, and switching router bits is simple. The depth adjustment is also very easy, and the router is My route is 45 degrees in depth, I just routed five and one-half inches deep It only used a couple bars on the battery indicator when moving a half a foot piece of maple and a deep 45 degree cut on fir! It handled that with ease! I am amazed! * I also regard it as safe and a good option- When the shaft is switched off, it comes to a halt in a heartbeat. A good location for the switch allows easy access when the device is ready to be turned on for use. A second feature is that dust is quite well collected- With a tool that naturally creates a lot of debris, something like this is really appreciated! Initially, I purchased a Makita 18 volt cordless router, and while it is not bad, it is not a match for this one. The cordless router is the only one I own and, really, the only one I need or want.

It's one of my favorite tools
5/5

I would have to say, hands down, it's my favorite tool. You can use this for almost any project you are working This is a simple and easy-to-use device. Almost every project will have a round over bit in it and I use it to round over the corners.

Hence, if you want a trim router that fits within the available space, then you will love this machine
5/5

I had been looking for one for quite some time. Visiting 'The big box store' I found the router, but no routers to buy. Using a cordless router had never occurred to me, and I am thankful for this. I love this idea! The Milwaukee batteries I have that can go on it are great, and I have plenty of those. You can use a router handheld without a cord, so why worry about a cord? The three routers I have are each big and powerful, one is mounted on a table and one has a hole cutting attachment. Due to my dislike for breaking down that one, I just bought another router to do hand-held work. Even so, I am sure this cordless one will be used three times more often than any of the others.

Petite router that is easy to use
5/5

I was surprised at how small this router was. In the past, I owned large routers. I expect this to be a bit smaller. This router is easy to use with a decent A high torque and a high I am very satisfied with my overall experience. issue with the height adjust is that it doesn't have a solid positive lock, and I appear to have accidentally brushed the wheel when I was focused on clearing the correct positions for each Although there was no wasted wood, my amateurish attempt made the work appear less than professional. Probably all I have to do is stick a piece of duct tape over the adjustment wheel to prevent it.
