How about the charger for the 8220 when it comes to 220 Volts?

That's not going to work. There was a transformer I had to purchase, but it is working well.

Can this be used for a variety of craft projects like drilling glass and stone?

I agree depending on the bit however, if you want to use the tool a lot I would recommend getting the corded version with the extension accessory since it will be more useful in a field for smaller repairs like sharpening lawnmower blades or drilling small screws.

It has been working great for me for a while now, and the battery life is excellent. I consider this rotary tool to be the best I've used so far. The quality of this product is better than many of the off-brands. There is a decent selection of attachments included with the machine. As a result, I also picked up the chain saw sharpening kit for it it has already paid for itself since it allows me to sharpen a chain instead of taking it somewhere or buying a new one. *There are so many uses for this that it's impossible to list them all* I can sharpen a chain in minutes
There are so many other uses for this too. The price was well worth it.

My favorite thing to use it for was pretty much In my husband's eyes, he looked at me like what would you ever need that thing for and like I wasted our money on that. This tool is used by him more than it is by me. There is no need for a charger if you are going to use this as it travels long distances and holds its charge for a long time. You will be surprised at how much you Everyone should have this tool in their arsenal!.
