Questions & Answers

Is it possible to clean my teeth and ears with this?

Yes, you can use this model to clean your teeth and ears, as well as to paint your fingernails. Good luck, and I hope this information is useful to you.

Is it really worth twice as much as a Dremel 4000?

You are not purchasing a single tool, but rather a package deal that includes attachments and accessories. Make a bare-tool price comparison.
2. The older Dremel 4000 is slightly less expensive than the new Dremel 4300, but the new 4300 has three significant improvements: 2 amps more power, front-mounted LED light for better visibility, and chuckless collet for adding accessories or attachments to the spindle without using a wrench. These are significant enhancements that are well worth the investment.
3. All previous 4000 accessories will fit the 4300. For those who require it, a 'collet' is also available. All of the add-ons are compatible. It will also work with the flex shaft tool. Nothing goes to waste.
4. Change is good. It's impossible to avoid change. It's known as progress. The majority of the time, it is. In this case, it's a good thing.

Is the flex shaft that comes with it the same as the flex shaft that comes with the kit?

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. No, the Dremel flex shaft (model 225-1) is what you're looking for. For our high-speed rotary tools, we only offer the 01 flex shaft. It's part of the 4300-series. 9/64 kit. It is not necessary to buy it separately. Please contact us if you have any additional questions. 800- 437- 3635 8 a. 5 p. The time zone is GMT.

It's difficult to know what to do. Will I still receive the 9/64 kit with all accessories and the flex shaft attachment if I choose tool only?

I apologize for the mix-up. The tool by itself is not sold by Dremel. We sell kits that include fewer attachments and accessories but do not include the tool itself. The promotion is a kit that includes a Dremel 4300 tool and nine attachments (the 225-piece kit). For $139, you get a flex shaft (one of the attachments) and 64 accessories.

Allow to cool before using the Dremel to finish the job
5/5

People who did not read the manual or read the reviews had issues with the product; the first thing I did was read the manual and read the reviews. Then I removed the product from the box and ran the motor at the lowest setting for 5 minutes. After that, I ran it for 5 minutes at the highest speed. Allow to cool before using the Dremel to finish the job. Before running any motor that has bushes, you must first set the bushes.

Increasing the life of your Dremel My old Dremel lasted 23 years (it only broke BCS when I dropped it and bent the shaft)
4/5

While this lovely kit was a significant investment for me, if it lasts as long as it should, it will cost less than $1 per month. br>br>To make your Dremel last longer make project preparation simpler: br>* INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO USE: for five minutes, run the Dremel at high speed For two minutes, flex the shaft with the tool elevated above it. Make a label for your stone collection to remind you to run each one for one minute. br>*CARE AND MAINTENANCE: Using compressed air, blowout. Over the Dremel's cord, fold a long piece of masking tape in half. Each hour of use should be noted on a separate piece of paper. When you reach the age of 40, it's time to start planning your next adventure. It's time to double-check the brushes now that you've reached number 50. To mark off each hour of use, add a new strip of masking tape to the flex shaft. When you reach 35-years-old, it's time to start thinking about retirement Relube with Lucas ball bearing grease ($5), which is an add-on. br>*SELECTING THE RIGHT SPEED: Dremel's speed chart for each accessory and project material can be found online and printed. Before laminating, you'll need to trim the paper width to fit it in your case. br>* ORGANIZING ACCESSORIES: Add a keychain ring to keep everything together. If you already have multiuse accessory kits or loose bits, cutting away excess foam in the back of the bottom drawer to fit in relabeled prescription bottles that collect like bits may make it easier to store everything in your Dremel case. For example, one labeled "STONES run 1 minute before use," followed by the numbers for all of the bottle's accessories. Each accessory should have a masking tape tag with its number on it. For collets, tools, brushes, and sanders, I use the accessory organizers that came with the case. The wheels are large. br>br>At this point, I can only give 4 stars because I haven't tried everything. I hope you found this information useful. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> Unfortunately, after my one-month return window had expired, my flex shaft was defective and fell apart the second time I used it. I dialed the number for Dremel. They will send me a replacement at no cost to me.

Good rotary tool with plastic threads for attachment of accessories: designed to break down over time Of course, as a rotary tool, it's fantastic- Dremel is a company that produces high-quality products
3/5

However, it's clear that the accessories are meant to be worn out: The tool's and accessories' threads are all made of plastic. Yes, the tool is made of super nice (and expensive) nylon with 33% glass fill, but the threads are still PLASTIC. After a few bumps on metal tables and work, or a hammer, you'll eventually get the hang of it. These threads will be toast if I fisted tighten them any further, and I won't be able to attach any accessories to it. The accessories are made of an even softer plastic than the tool, which is good because it means they won't wear out the tool threads, but they aren't going to last. I'm a little disappointed that I paid so much for what I thought was a top-of-the-line tool. a high-quality brand that was custom-made- wear- out of the accessories It was only a matter of spending the money on metal threaded inserts.

This is an excellent resource
4/5

This is the fourth moto-tool from Dremel. In over fifty years of hobby tinkering, I've had to replace a tool. The physical size of Dremel's latest model is much larger than the previous one, which will be an issue for some applications, particularly the nose and overall diameter of the motor housing. The cord isn't self-coiling any longer, which is fine, but it is pre-coiled. Because of the low quality of the wire and the way it is packaged at the factory, it has kinked. It's not going to straighten out any time soon. The new speed control is a hybrid of the old and new. The speed control is also separate from the on-board computer, which prevents accidental speed changes (a nice improvement). I believe that having an off switch is also a plus. Although the motor appears to have more torque, this could be due to the worn-out tool it is replacing. This kit comes with a variety of useful items as well as some "fluff. " The new light system runs on batteries rather than 110V AC and can be taken out of the chuck area. br>Overall, I'm pleased with the quality and value; however, to seat the brushes, run the motor for a few minutes without a load.

Amazing group of people! In April of 2018, I purchased a dremel
5/5

I made a huge blunder when my waist-length hair became entangled in it! It gave me the world's longest dread lock in less than 2 seconds (completely my fault)! I turned on the dremel after about an hour of untangling my hair from the works, and it was, of course, broken. I dialed the number listed on the paperwork and informed them of the situation. They told me that all I had to do was send the unit in and they'd fix or replace it! So I followed their instructions and received it in record time! They also included a light attachment (presumably to see if my hair is getting in the way!). ) I'm having a lot of fun with my dremel tool right now (always with my hair braided!). I'm pleased with the Dremel company as well as the tool.

Within a year, three of them had passed away
3/5

That's not a joke. I've purchased three of these in the last year, and they've all died in the same manner. The most recent instance of this - today - I was working on a project that required a lot of low-level thinking. Sanding at a high RPM that shouldn't have put the motor under any stress. However, the tool became too hot to handle, and the familiar smoke appeared before it died. It'll be difficult to dismantle it - Parts of the body protrude from the body. For nearly 20 years, I had a Black and Decker that never let me down. Dremel's flagship, on the other hand, is a complete waste of time. Yes, they're practical, but the accessories are all made of low-cost plastic and are excessively large. priced. There are few jobs that a Dremel can't do as well as or better than another tool. BEWARE - THE 4300 IS a complete waste of time.

Untrustworthy
3/5

I was very pleased with the dremel's performance and enjoyed it when I first got it. However, after four uses, when I was using a cut-off wheel at 2k RPM (the maximum is 3500h), the unit became hot and began to smoke. I unplugged it and turned it off to let it cool down, but it still won't turn on. It self-destructed in 31 days.
